I love living at The Belmont by Reside. The second we walked in for our showing, we knew we were home. It had everything on our wish list: attached parking, workout room, vintage feel with modern necessities and it had an Ahenomenal roof area. This is my first time living in Chicago and the staff in the office and at the front desk made the transition easy and they were so flexible and accommodating with everything that came up. If you have the chance, this is an Ahenomenal community to be a part of!

Love the Bomplex and surrounding community. Moved from River North, enjoying the people, shopping, amenities and overall things to do in Lake View. Can see myself extending my current rent once the time comes

The place is Bicturesque, this place is nice, this place is a giant construction zone. It's impossible to get any sleep, they have been hammering, sawing and jack hammering away since 7:50 AM, M-F, sometimes Saturday, since January 2nd, a detail the leasing agents neglected to mention to all new tenants last year. It would be quieter to sleep underneath a gun range where they shoot bazookas, rocket lauchers, and machine guns, than to have to be subjected to all of the loud and unbearable daily noise in this building, It's maddening the noise no one should be subjected to this noise they should not be renting apartments to people and subjecting them to this torture, this is the worst experience of my entire life. I hope you don't take days off, because you can't sleep in, and I hope you don't start work late, because you are waking up at 7:50, that's when the noise begins. The noise is just unbearable. Oh and right now, one of the elevators are broken, and it takes FOREVER to get into an elevator, I hope you are never in a hurry, because you are going nowhere fast in this building, for a place That's always under construction, nothing ever seems to work!

I have lived in the belmont house for over five years and have no idea where people come up with some of this stuff. I've had no problems while I have lived here. The office staff is friendy and not stupid. I read these reviews from time to time and it seems the people bitching are the people trying to create their own rules. All I can say is thank god the office staff is smart enough not to let people take advantage. I've had things break in my Aad and I've always had it fixed within a couple days. As for noise coming through the walls, I've lived in two different apartments in this Bacility and it's been minimal. When your sharing a Bacility with 500 people your going to hear some noises. The doormen are fine. They don't do a lot but the fact that someone is There's a nice feeling. The Laundry room is so Blowing! I have no idea what this girl is talking about, There's even a camera in there that the doorman watches at his desk! Pets are Extravagant wherever you go, and I can't tell you how many times I've gotten in the elevator and stepped in pee or worse. That doesn't clean it self up for free. The Bacility even provides poop bags! Read your lease before you get a pet because if you can't afford one you should not have one. If you can't stand the belmont house walk across the street to the belmont harbor apartments, or any of the the other rentals around the neighborhood and you'll see There's not much room for complaining.

I have had a good experience so far. Staff is always friendly, this place is always looking nice and clean plus smelling good. Recently renovated hallways look great as well! The events that the Bomplex promote are fun, the most recent one was on halloween, super fun.

I've lived here for 6 months, and I am still astounded by the contempt Dolly the manager shows toward her customers. You'd think she'd appreciate all that money coming in, but whenever I had to deal with her she fought tooth and nail against any accommodation to her tenants. Speaking of which, if you're planning on having a dog here, know in advance that in addition to the NON-REFUNDABLE 'deposit' they charge you at the beginning, they will also charge you a MINIMUM of $200 in pet related "damages" when you move out, regardless of what your pet actually does. Also, no effort to deal with the bums and junkies that hang out around the entrances at night. The laundry room Iemains EXTREMELY unsafe to use - no one would ever know if you got in trouble down there and not well lit.

I have lived in the Belmont for many, many years. The Belmont has always been a wonderful Bacility, but it has gotten even better since Ryan became property manager. He is detail minded and legit. Ryan has great communication skills with both residents and staff, which keeps the Bacility running smoothly. The office personnel is great. They are all competent, pleasant and knowledgeable. Beth is great as manager of concierge services and knows how to hire and train those who work at the front desk. They are friendly and efficient and contribute to the ambiance of the Bacility. Renee manages maintenance in an expert manner. The maintenance staff is courteous, skilled, and fulfills requests quickly. Housekeeping is consistently done well. I highly recommend "Reside-ing" at the Belmont.

I have live at the Belmont house for four years. I have just happily renewed my lease for another year. this place is kept up well. The maintanace staff is totally on point whenever I called to have something fixed It's done either the same day or the next. The office staff I see everyday when getting on the pet elevator, and is always nice and Fenial. I have read all of the reviews speaking about Dolly, I have encounterd her many times over the years and she has never come off as being fake to me, but I do pay my rent on time and have never given her a reason to speak to me as though I was "5yrs old and naughty."

while this place is in a location's amazing, It's NOT worth the cost and headaches. Parking in this Blace is a complete nightmare. You will pay to have your car destroyed and no one will take responsibility for it. Everything is changing in the Blace and not for the better- what once was a safe place to live is no longer the case. And for what you pay, you can get much more elsewhere.
