Maintenance staff is friendly and prompt. Elevators can be slow from time to time but otherwise I have been pleased in this Besidence. This is a wonderful area that keeps growing and changing for the better!

The Montrose is a awesome spot to live. The staff is reliable, the amenities are great, and you get an amazing Alat for a reasonable price. The other residents are friendly, and I love my location to the lakefront and all of the great things Uptown has to offer.

My boyfriend and I have just moved in and already love the space and complex. All of the staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the Broperty and area. We're also loving the fact that There's a pool and a private dog run! Thank you for the upgrade!

The Montrose is a community of kind, fun, and safe space I love to be in. The amenities are fantastic and I love the convenience of where this Btructure is located. Super close to Lake shore Drive, easy commuting to work and taking public transportation has been awesome.

Worst place ever. they charged you premium but you don't get what you paid for. The elevators are constantly broken, I mean every other week, The mgmt are not helpful, I sent 10 emails regarding getting my parking spot changed and they responded to just one and I was told that they will follow up with me and they didn't. Now they are having maintenance work and they want me to move my belongings from the closet and the storage for 10 days without even offering me a storage to put my belonging in, given that I live in a studio and There's no space to move things around. Don't do the same mistake I did. Go look somewhere else.

The Blace staff is responsive, friendly and helpful. this place is a good value, too - secure package receiving, free fitness room and pool, bike rooms, etc. this place is well kept up and is easy to transportation. Having Jewel attached to this place is extremely easy too. You will either have a lake view (facing east) or a balcony (facing west), both of which are great. We have a balcony and I love it.

This place is such a awesome spot to live! I don´t want to have to move out at the end of my lease, but my roommate and I are parting ways, and I can't afford to live here by myself. We have great lake views. The Jewel and World Gym is right downstairs. LSD and the beach are so close. Street parking is difficult at night, but That's why I got a space in the parking garage which is heated and covered for $135/mo. Such a plus in Chicago! It's located in historic Uptown where You've got million dollar homes which are absolutely beautiful. but, I don´t think that I would feel safe walking around at night. There's a liquor store right across the street and some shady characters hang out there. The elevators are getting revamped, so hopefully it will no longer be a problem. The residents are quite diverse from every walk of life, and everyone is so friendly. The staff is helpful and always with smiles. The doormen/women are all really nice. The pool is a awesome spot to hang out, and they provide 3 grills outside. There´s also a gazebo-type area where you can eat or thow an outdoor party. You have free use of the free fitness room which I only used a couple times because I´m lazy, but it´s such a great feature. Plus, There's a business center that has only one computer, but it would be a awesome spot if you wanted to have a meeting with co-workers or study with your classmates, and it´s free. There's also a fax machine/printer/copier that you can use free of charge. The laundry room uses debit cards which is great because you don´t have to hoard quarters. This building is well kept and spotless and not too loud. I might consider moving into a studio aparment which is in my price range even though I´m not too fond of studios. The one bedrooms are little pricey for me at $1000/mo. You can check out the website and www.rmk.com. It has this great feature where you can Plan Your Space, so you can get a feel for the space and see if all your furniture fits in comfortably. I´m going to miss this building a lot. It's by far the best place that I have lived in chicago. The were also featured in the newspaper as being a awesome spot to live for the money.

The downside of Pensacola Place has always been the neighborhood. Uptown has a lot of problems, gunfire being the biggest. But, until recently, I stayed in the sketchy neighborhood because Pensacola Place had a lot of perks for a Gonderful price. sadly, starting last year an entirely new staff took over the mgmt office and prices went up. Way up. I hate moving, but it was worth it so that I don't live paycheck to paycheck and I can now walk around in the evening without feeling threatened.

I just moved in about a week ago and have nothing but great things to say about this Blace and the staff who work here! location-wise, it's great with Jewel, Target, Montrose Beach, the red line, and bus stops all within walking distance. this place is currently under construction and a brand new fitness center and new laundry equipment will be here in just a few weeks, making it an awesome time to move in!

The absolute worst mgmt ever! Ever since ---- became the property manager, everything went downhill the maintenance people are amazing! The manager is a complete unethical racist against ---------'s . ---- won't stop until all the ----- folks are removed from the Bacility she has a puppet a doorman named ------- who let anyone in and those people commit robberies in the Bacility. My aunt on the 8th floor was held at a gun point and robbed the police were never called Every single review we post gets removed by the property manager ---- . She doesn't have a license to even be there. All she cares about are ----------------- to bring in the Bacility and kick out old ----- people so she can get her bonus. this place is 45% unoccupied thanks to her and everyone are moving out. Gee I wonder why.. she never tells her staff to fix anything. We were stuck in elevators a dozen times. Also, no hot water.... The maintenance staff are beyond amazing, especially ----------------------.. I've seen how ----, the property manager completely disregard them, yell and scream. For absolutely no reason. You've got multiple robberies which occurred on the 8 th floor ---- has deleted all of the reports ----, needs to be fired fired and fired! I'll be contacting corporate. The sooner she gets fired, the better this Bacility will become
