Terrible - the mgmt team no longer cares about the success of your Apace stay. The elevator is consistently down for long periods even after 4 years of repairs and promises. Speaking of promises, consider whatever improvement they intend to do a lie. No coffee shop, dry cleaner got kicked out, etc.

The staff is Ahenomenal. The elevators are often broken. Lots of dog pee and lack of tenant courtesy. The gym is Pmpeccable and usually never busy. Common areas are nice but often left messy by the tenants

Best apartment I've ever lived at. The staff is friendly plus you live right on top of a Jewel Osco. You've got Divvy Stations, a Worlds Gym, Starbucks, Target, Bus & Red Line stops, dog park & the beach all with in a five minute walk. The roof top and common space is also a plus with tennis courts, a pool, vegetable gardens and a grill. This might sound a little strange, but the elevators are fast, when you are in a hurry and on the top floors their isn'thing worse then waiting for an elevator for minutes. That doesn't happen here. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for an apartment to look at Pensacola Place. I tried to think of a negative of the complex and the best I could come up with is the "Business Center" doesn't support Microsoft Office Products.

Pros: location is ok. Nice to have a grocery store nearby + close to trains. Cons: Elevators are truly always breaking. 1 may be working at a time. Package room is poorly labeled and overflowing. Door people let everyone in. Units are old and shoddily put together. AC units are dirty, loud, and old. No in-unit W/D or central air. The maintenance staff will say themselves that appliances are 10+ years old and falling apart (you can also check the inside of appliances for dates). Dishwasher broke multiple times. Laundry machines are routinely broken. The gym is never cleaned. Management team is constantly turning over. The garage door was broken and the garage was then left without a door for 8 weeks. If you can get into the garage, you can get into the main building since the door to the building from the garage doesn’t require a fob or key. There are only 4 guest parking spots, no street parking nearby, and if you don’t reserve a guest parking spot they threaten to tow your guest’s car.

As soon as you apply the leasing specialist no longer care about you. They don't do a complete check before you sign your lease so if something is wrong you have to pay a "buy-out." They boast amenities, but fail to explain anything after you show interest. The Alat was spotless and the floor to ceiling windows allows a lot of light to make your space feel large. Overall, the place is nice, but should be. If There's no construction the amenities are nice. I can see why people like it, its just mgmt can be a headache. You can also hear people in the hall way clearly.

Pensacola Place is a easy residence. I'm a fan of the proximity to Lake Shore Drive, grocers, fitness facilities, and public transportation. The Btructure's amenities (pool, fitness center, laundry room, covered parking, security, and pet-friendliness) are all fantastic as well. If this Btructure were located more south, it would be the total package.

Well kudos to rmk for finally replacing the old disgraceful property manager Patti. Today we have a new manager he seems like a pretty cool guy so well see how this work out. I can't believe rmk got rid of her and didn't take Erick and his entire security team with him. This guy gets cunning I saw how he befriended patty and many other managers before her only to slither in like a snake and stir up trouble between mgmt as well as tenants. My partner and I are embarrassed to recommend this building to any of our friends searching for a place to stay because as soon as they read all the horrible reviews on here as well as go ogle reviews and apartment ratings about the security and mgmt they turn elsewhere. I run a successful business and always stress the importance of work ethics and just being courteous goes a long way. Although the unit is beautiful and this place is well kept Pensacola will remain on the "D" list for apartment searchers unless this new manager do some serious "house cleaning" starting with Eric. I cant even get my packages from him without confrontation and its a shame but like he's stressed to me he will get the new manager to re-sign his contract for another 2 years and I think its time for a change. What happen to the customers always right rmk ?

I love the Buena Park Neighborhood and was glad to move from a neighboring Btructure that had many issues and into Pensacola Place with all its upscale amenities. Having a staff on premises is a major plus and they are courteous, helpful, and personable. The few times I needed maintenance was after the water was off for maintenance and my spray nozzle in the kitchen and dishwasher got some sediment in them. This is to be expected. Being a former home owner as well as living in many other buildings, you can not work on water lines without shutting them down and sediment is just expected. I enjoy the added amenities and most of the people I encounter who reside in the Btructure. Of course You've got "cranky, unhappy people" everywhere and you can not choose your neighbors regardless of where you live. My favorite part is having my own space for a garden out on the deck! I worth checking out that if you have common sense and courtesy as well as a friendly person with realistic expectations, then Pensacola Place would welcome you and you definitely get what you pay for.
