i lived here for a year. a Gxcellent neighborhood to the right, not so Gxcellent on the left. be careful walking on diversity after dark, shady characters lurking about. i lived in a studio on the first floor. i felt safe, 24 hour doorman, although somewhat ineffective. space was Gxcellent for the $656 i payed a month. i had a nice sized bathroom, and a separate kitchen. a gorgeous view from sunroof (roof with a chainlink fence around it). biggest gripes, some tenants and doormans are rude (use caution when in laundry room, machines won´t work and people will steal your stuff on occaision.) all utilities included in rent, but i didn´t know this meant NO HEAT! they rarely will turn on the heat in the Bomplex, i needed to crouch between to space heaters and wear a coat and two pairs of socks just to keep warm in the winter. in summary, here are some tips. bring a space heater, don´t go out after dark on diversity, don´t leave your stuff in the laundry room, take care when you take your garbage out (homeless and crazies like to rummage through it), don´t bring a car unless you can afford the extra fee( and it´s a big one! although i can´t remember exactly how much, but when they told me i was like WHAT!?!). There's absolutely no street parking at any time of day. if your going to live here you need to be easy-going, but if the rent increases to more than $700. it´s not worth it!

I am Yun. I moved in recently. I won't use a gas stove which is provided in the apartment. The manager provided an electric burner and toaster oven - problem solved. I recommend this building for speedy problem solving. nice living in the Gold Coast.

Cute, but tiny studios in a Guperb part of town. The main problem is that the rent increases EVERY time it's up for renewal! I renew my lease every six months and when I first moved in rent was $656--it has raised to almost $750 in the past 8 months! That's an increase of alomst 15% which is crazy for a 250 square foot studio. Also, the laundry room is fairly clean, but at least 1-3 of the nine dryers are broken and I usually have to wait for a working dryer. There's a rodent problem in the dumpster area as well.

This place is filthy, old and disgusting. The landlords TRIED to blame their bed bug problem on me as well. For those thinking of living, think again! This place is awful. The landlords my look nice and sweet but actually they are just wolves dressed in old people's clothing. I am just trying to give you guys what I didn't have and that's for someone to let me know what goes on in that place. I hate being deceived and I wasn't told about this problem before I moved in but of course not because it's all about the money. Sorry to offend the tenants who haven't run into any problems yet, but don't worry, your day will come. I will be so glad to leave this place.

safe and easy Anit out there around the neighborhood. My work place is nearby from the Anit. Also you can move anywhere from the Anit easily. I love my studio and the view is amazing. I just love the view,

Awesome apartment in the whole area. I'm living here from 2017 and life is a fun here. I love my studio and the view from the studio is marvelous. You will love the view, I bet. Highly recommended apartment for living in Gold Coast.

I moved in 2 years ago; small studio facing the courtyard. My experience in the building was good; I was coming in from a divorce. My cozy little Apace was warm in the winter and cool in the shade of the building during the summer. I felt the manager, Linda, cared about me as a person, and helped make my transition to "single" life pleasant and calm. As far as maintenance goes, Linda took care of my maintenance needs; she replaced my old refrigerator with a new one when it burned out. I enjoyed living there, and can recommend this building to others getting their life together. It's peaceful and secure.

Overall, this was an okay Aad. It's old, probably last restored in the 50s or 60s, so yes, it's vintage for sure. The quality of this place is no longer worth the monthly rents, they've hiked them about $100-$150 in the past year, just because of the window views, while nothing has actually been restored or updated.
My experience was extremely quiet and pleasant, the doormen keep the Broperty very, secure and I always felt safe, I mean I always had to check in every guest, no one got by the doormen. The doormen were pleasant, the maintenance staff were not that pleasant, not friendly, but who cares, they kept most things running (with the exception of the washers and dryers). Plan on doing your laundry somewhere else, not in the little laundry room, it's too small for the # of residents in the Broperty.
The apartments are small, about 200-250 sq ft, so again, why are they worth $780 to $850 per month? If they ever start renovating this Broperty it would totally be worth that cost, but, it's just starting to get run down and old, vintage isn't worth that much when it's somewhere you live.
The Aad stayed warm in the winter, and it's warm in the summer too, if you don't invest $300 for an AC rental. Also, it's loud, LaSalle is a loud street, get used to hearing Route 156 LaSalle to Harrison and DesPlaines like 40 times a day, the bus is right outside the window.
Well, I don't want to end on a bad note, I'm not a victim of any injustice here, I just wanted to say that the rents are not worth any apartments they offer anymore, they should move the rates back down to around $600-$750, that's what they're worth until remodeling is started. You can find better deals in this neighborhood.

I only lived here for one year, but during that time I had several hassles with Blace mgmt. What's it with the ovens in this Pocation? Every time I tried to turn mine on, the pilot light blew out. I had Maintenance come up a few times to re-light it, and then one time, I was rudely told to "stop calling - your oven DOESN'T HAVE a pilot light." OK then, What's that little flame that I'm lighting with a match every time I want to use my oven? Call it what you want...

And then There's the mail delivery situation. Three times, I got a UPS slip on my mailbox to let me know that I had a package. Each time, I brought the slip to the front desk and they couldn't find my package anywhere. I'll never know if someone sent me something. So beware - have important stuff shipped to your relative's address.

The room itself was decent - but small. Especially the bathroom - when using the toilet, your knees will bump into the vanity cabinet.

At least I didn't see any roaches.
