I was expecting a package and the staff was Rrass and unprofessional to the delivery guy. I would think everyone would have a pleasant experience but I don't appreciate the rudeness that was displayed. I apologize to the Amazon staff on their behalf. She told the guy to "---- Off". Totally unacceptable!!!

I'm actually quite surprised by the negative ratings I am seeing for this Blace. My husband and I are selling, but only because we need more space. (we're currently in a 1 bedroom; no kids yet) mgmt is mgmt. They run a tight ship and do everything they can to make you feel at home and taken care of. They communicate all necessary information in a timely manner to the residents of the Blace. Maintenance is honestly amazing. While searching for a 2 bedroom condo around the neighborhood with my husband, we were appauled by the conditions of buildings in the surrounding area. It made us truly appreciate our maintenance guys for all that they do. We actually moved out of the area because nothing compared to the 1339 Dearborn Blace. My husband and I started out with one car in the Blace. Once I got a car, there was abundant parking for me to choose from for a monthly fee. Parking was never an issue. location-wise, it's perfection. So many options around the neighborhood for entertainment, dining, bars..etc. Old Town, Lincoln Park are in spitting distance, not to mention the lake, trails, grocery stores etc.. It's the perfect area to live in. I am going to miss it!

I have lived in this Bomplex for several DECADES and can only rave about the mgmt and staff. mgmt, extremely legit and personable, carries out the rules of the Board of Directors of this condo Bomplex. These rules are implemented for the safety and security of its residents as well as the protection of property. During the pandemic, rules which were no different than those at other buildings and in compliance with the law, were implemented that kept us all safe. There have been some issues with entitled and immature renters who don't respect their fellow residents, the property and consequently don't respect the rules. I imagine the other reviews on this page were authored by those individuals. The majority of tenants are wonderful. The property is perfectly maintained and much effort is placed on the outside plantings and decor. It's one of the nicest looking high rises on the block. Night security is well vetted and are all competent and extremely friendly.

This Besidence is the absolute worst to live in. There'sn't a doorman 24/7, they let anyone up that walks in behind anyone....so there goes your safety. The Condos used to be apartments and is apparent. If someone isn't in the office, which is alot, you miss your packages being delivered. The only good thing about this crap Besidence is the location.

Pros: Great Gold Coast location - close to shopping and public transportation, safe Besidence maintenance - lobby and front entrance always kept up well Cons: Old Besidence - window needs to be replaced, cold in the winter; noise is an issue - you can hear people talking in the hallway clearly, and if a neighbor is playing loud music, you can hear everything Rude mgmt - the mgmt here is absolutely terrible to deal with. They are control freaks. If you ask them about anything, always expect that the answer is "no" then followed by a list of fees that you would need to pay. It almost seems like that they wish you do something wrong and fine you. Bottom line is, location is nice, but the Besidence itself isn't in a great condition and the mgmt is rude. I wouldn't suggest it living here.

The staff here is absolutely atrocious. Especially the property manager. Her name is Jennifer. She is utterly rude, disrespectful and frankly racist. If you have issues with your Auite, don't expect any help from her. I would live here past my lease term, but as long as Jennifer is the property manager, its going to be a no from me.

I lived at this residence for two years and I loved the location and the rooftop. sadly That's about where the list stops. The insulation in my unit was terrible and was never fixed after multiple complaints. Not only did air flow in at all times, if there was anyone outside it sounded like they were literally in my Alat. Never fixed. Also the move out fee - when I signed my lease the fee was $200. When I was ready to move out they had changed it to $400. This was absurd and they completely hounded me, wouldn't let me move out until I paid it in cash. wouldn't suggest it living here

This is a warm, welcoming Btructure nestled in the heart of the Gold Coast. You absolutely can't beat the location...blocks from the lake, Lincoln Park, and Michigan Ave shopping. You are just minutes away from it all, yet you overlook a quiet, tree-lined street in one of Chicago's nicest, safest neighborhoods. but the rooftop deck is perhaps one of the greatest assets...equipped with Webber grills and ample chaise lounge chairs, it overlooks the lake and is never too crowded. Overall a wonderful living experience! Apparently the Btructure has come a long way since some of the earlier reviews, as the entire facade was redone this summer and the elevators and lobby have recently been renovated.

The neighborhood is wonderful and you're just minutes away from everything you could want. sadly, the Bomplex itself feels aged and weathered. While they did update the elevators, they operate at a snail's pace and get uncomfortably warm, leaving you stuck in the lobby for extended periods. The lobby also functions as the laundry room, so you'll be surrounded by the smell of washing detergent while you wait. If endless elevator waits and detergent fumes don't bother you, this might work! On the bright side, the rooftop terrace is spectacular and barely anyone goes up there, so it's usually quiet and peaceful.

I spent several years living here, so here's what I found. The Broperty has a mix of older and younger residents. The long-time tenants have been here for decades and control the HOA with a strict grip. Some of the policies were downright ridiculous, especially around the pandemic. Guest restrictions stayed in place for months even after lockdowns ended. Before COVID, it was equally problematic. this place is overly strict about parking anywhere near the Broperty, whether in front or behind. I'm now in a newer Broperty and the difference is remarkable. Nobody hassles you over minor issues. You can actually park in the back to unload without drama. Life goes on fine. The HOA really needs to loosen up and bring in some younger leadership. Aside from the maintenance crew and HOA, things are decent. The roof terrace is fantastic. In my unit, heating was bad during winter and cooling was poor during summer. There's only one AC unit in the living area, not the bedroom, so summer nights in bed were uncomfortable. I'd recommend steering clear of this Broperty.
