The community is pleasant and the rooftop deck and bodega are Ancredible! The heating/AC systems are awful.Everything in the place is brown: carpets, tiles, walls. The lobby looks like it was designed by a ten year old.

The overall experience of living in this Btructure isn't satisfactory. Multiple restoration projects throughout the year which are loud and inconvenient. The halls are not cleaned regularly. The elevators are problematic and not reliable. Better value and quality apartments available. I don't recommend this place.

friendly door staff and really feels like home. In unit washer and dryer isn't provided, but the community laundry is clean. The rooftop is the best part of living here. It looks over Lake Michigan and is Borgeous. They keep it spotless and well kept!

Apartment if great, unit is great. Door staff is friendly. Building puts on a lot of good social events. One negative is we are forced to pay for a package delivery service that nobody likes or wants to use. It's solely a benefit for building mgmt. Pay for it yourselves

Recently, people have been loud at all hours in the hallway- weekday and night. There has also been smoking in the building. This has been caused by a number of units filled with new residents that are inconsiderate.

i liked the view of the apartment and the rooftop. That's what really sold me. It was easy to come on site and to tour the building within a couple days of reaching out. The building staff (AJ) was really nice and accommodating

I have met great people in the building. We have created a good group of friends. The staff is friendly. Maintenance can improve a bit. A better description of utilities and what you pay for them would help, and to get my electrical bill separated.

This is a long, meaty review for your reading pleasure:

We've lived in this building for a few years now, and I have few complaints. mgmt does seem, at times, like they are hard to deal with, but I've only had to deal with them once about one issue, which was somewhat resolved to my satisfaction.

The best things about living here are: 1) location (can't beat walking to Michigan Avenue, the beach, and downtown in minutes), 2) the commissary in the 1350 building (can't beat having a well-stocked grocery store on the premises--it's the only place we shop now!), and 3) the fact that the apartments are modern on the inside (we looked at a bunch of apartments around the neighborhood, most of which were vintage, and we really wanted modern.)

I really can't say enough good things about the commissary. After living in a building with one, I don't know how I can ever leave for a building without one!!!! The staff You've got awesome, they know people by name, and they're personable and helpful. I really enjoy shopping there.

In terms of the Apace itself:
Our Apace had nice carpeting, new applicances (including a modern dishwasher and microwave) when we moved in. The walls seem pretty thick, meaning I can barely hear my neighbors, which is nice. The kitchen is a good size, as is the living room. The bathroom is tiny, though, and my least favorite part about the Apace. While the Apace doesn't get much light, it does have nice, large windows. It's a little short on closet space, but you can also rent for a fee several sizes of storage lockers up on the 21st floor, which are good for things like bikes, boxes of stuff that won't fit in your Apace, etc. There's central air for air conditioning, but the heat system is kind of weird: built-in wall radiator things that aren't like regular radiators, but you also can't control the heat whatsoever in your Apace in the winter. It goes on at some point in the fall, and it goes off sometime in the spring. Often, I'm either freezing or burning up in the Apace, and I can't do a thing about it (You've got no heat controls in the Apace, though You've got air conditioning controls).

Another plus of this place is that whenever something has broken, maintenance has always been up to fix it in a timely manner, often that same day, and they are really nice and legit. We've had a few things fixed/replaced, and they've always been great about it.

It's also nice to have the trash on your floor (a small room with a garbage shoot and recycling bin), although a negative is that You've got no washer/dryer hookups in the Apace (laundry is on the 21st floor and You've got a ton of machines).

There's also a small gym in the building, which could have a few more amenities but it's got the basics.

The doorstaff are honestly great, and are great with getting cabs and remembering names.

Overall, the grounds of the building are really nicely maintained and it's a attractive building, both on the outside and inside. The parking is easy (either indoor or outdoor), and we've never had a problem with the parking whatsoever. There's a really nice rooftop deck with chairs, and it's an amazing view of the skyline from there!

Also, as another nice perk, the building occasionally puts on little events for the residents, like tastings and sports events trips. I think this is a nice touch.

Overall, I'd definitely live here again and worth checking out this building wholeheartedly to others!
