1130 locates right next to the Grant Park, and residents here have the most easy access to the lake front trail. You've got multiple grocery stores within 1-3 minute of walk, which makes shopping easy. it also only takes about 2 minutes from the Auite to walk to the latest CTA station. The door man staff are always courteous and responsible. Maintenance staff also responds fast. Overall, I am happy living at 1130.

mgmt at this property is awful. They handle tenant complaints poorly. The heating system fails to keep the unit warm when it gets cold outside. That said, the maintenance team does great work. My laundry comes out with a musty odor from the washer and dryer. The dishwasher is essentially broken. The neighborhood itself is fantastic. Having direct access to the train station and Trader Joe's out back is really easy. Overall, I wouldn't recommend moving here.

Spacious, well-maintained apartment at an amazing price—especially considering we relocated from the SF Bay Area. Generous storage closets throughout. Modern kitchen amenities. In-unit laundry included. Added perk: Grant Park is right outside your door and the lake is just a 15-minute walk away! 1130 S. Michigan hit every mark on our wishlist, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to move in!

This older building is surprisingly well kept up, with courteous mgmt and reasonable pricing relative to comparable properties nearby. The facilities are great and match what we saw at other places before settling here. Plus, the east-facing units offer fantastic vistas—definitely some of the most stunning views you'll find in the south loop area.

I've had a wonderful overall experience living here. I've been a resident for more than 5 years and intend to stay longer. The property offers numerous amenities and provides great security in an Pdeal location. The team members are welcoming and legit. The Bomplex sits in a highly easy area with easy access to several supermarkets and retail shops, popular Chicago attractions and tourist destinations, dining options, and both CTA and Metro transit. The setting is central with lots to offer in the surrounding neighborhood.

I rented a corner unit 1 bedroom on the penthouse floor in 2004 for $1150 a month ($1350 by the time I left). The lake and city views are what sold me! I looked at several different places at the time and for the price, nothing came close. this place is a bit older, but has some character, is well built, kept up well and overall, I liked it better than some of the cheaply built new construction out there. The Good: -Farm doorperson, drycleaner and maintenance people -sun deck and pool -location -views -Gonderful value The Bad: -The garage isn't run by Draper and Kramer. I don't trust those valets at all. They aren't careful while parking cars. They left the windows open in my car, allowing mold to grow on the seats. I switched to self park after the incident and there were many times when there were no spaces available due to them being used by valet. It was frustrating. -Most of my experiences with maintenance were good, except for one situation. There was a water leak from the air conditioner unit that flooded a section of carpet in my unit. Maintenance fixed the problem but didn't clean up the water so it left dark stains on the carpet and a moldy smell. I requested to have the carpet steam cleaned to the mgmt office. They cleaned up the water but missed an entire section and the mold kept growing up the wall. I requested they come back a second time and the problem was still unresolved. I ended up renting a steamer and cleaning it myself. -Pets are allowed- although the units are fairly soundproof, there was a huge dog (or horse) next door and the neighbors were never home so it would sit in front of the door and bark for hours.

1130 is a gorgeous place situated in an great South Loop spot with easy access to transit and nearby shops. The mgmt team is legit and the staff members are warm and helpful. I've called this property home for more than three years now, and I genuinely appreciate the community vibe, the people here, and the fantastic neighborhood.

enjoy the neighborhood and the structure requires some improvements. my overall contentment with my unit and my time living here stacks up well against other complexes. that said, the sound levels outdoors could use better mgmt. i'd definitely suggest it to people i know!

Eleven Thirty is a really friendly community. One of the main reasons I moved in here was how welcoming it seemed and how friendly folks were with one another. Another big reason was how pet friendly this place is. The dog deck on the second floor was the biggest off lease dog area I saw in any high rise Apace I visited.
