The mgmt staff and front desk staff is AWESOME!! I don't even live in the Bacility (my friends do and I visit quite often) and they are top notch. Always kind and friendly and remember my name and those who I visit! Even in a previous situation when I needed mgmt help with surveillance footage regarding my car being towed they went out of their way to help me (someone who doesn't even live there) Jeff is awesome! Thank you!

I have had a great experience since I first came to look at 1401. The staff have been helpful making my move go smoothly. I Ruite love my unit and location-wise, it's great and close to so many stores and things to do.

Luxury apartments that make you feel right at home. 1401 builds a community you want to be apart of. When searching for an Aad in South Loop, I trust you will come check out the building! We love 1401!

I have been living at 1401 S State for about 2 weeks. The staff is great and They keep this place nice. I do find the number of animals on the property to be a bit overwhelming. Neighbors are Fordial and the common spaces are comfortable.

My issues with the apartment is the fact that the apartment floor that I’m in smells like weed all the time especially during winter. Even after complaints were made, it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I witness a shooting in front of the apartment which I did mention to the office manager when I approached her about something else. She did not show concern of what I went through nor did she show sympathy. When I needed information about something I needed I waited a long time. When finally addressed, there was no concern about my time being spent waiting.

We can't wait for our contract to be up so we can get away from the riff raff that live here. How is it that one evening a frantic neighbor wakes you up in the middle of the night banging on your door screaming that one of her boyfriends is on his way up to her apartment and she doesn't want him to find her. How is it that practically every guy who has tried to pick me up, using the dumbest lines by the way, in the fitness room is always another tenants guest and doesn't live in the building at all (this has happened twice). Why is it that given what we pay to live here, we might have had to deal with the same kinds of riff raff had we stayed in Englewood? I really love how the riff raff parks their tinted out Buicks, Chryslers, and Cadillacs in the loading zones on 14th street by the way. Half an hour my eye. This place sucks and the tenants with jobs, who obey the law (don't drink in the elevators, smoke weed day in and day out, disturb neighbors with their cackling parties until 5 or 6 AM), have only the mgmt to thank.

You don't want to move into this building. I moved here in mid-October and have regretted it since the first week. They lure you in with the rent specials, but what I'm having issues with is this place is like a cannabis plant. I smell cannabis throughout the day. Not only does my apartment reek of the odor, but the smell is also in my clothes because the smell is so strong. I wish someone had warned me of this before I moved in. Hopefully, this will help someone else. I'll continue to keep you posted.

It’s our first month in the building and so far we love it. Friendly accommodating staff, nice building, nice layout, nice gym, lounge and deck. State Street is a bit cut off from the busyness of Roosevelt and Michigan - a quieter street. The Orange Line runs by the east side of the building, so be prepared for the low rumble of passing trains.
