We have been in this building for a number of years. We moved to a two bedroom this year to get a wonderful veiw of Lake Michigan and Navy Pier. It's true that with the previous owners of this building we had to wait too long for our building to get some problems resolved. It's amazing how much better things are being done. The old painting staff that we had trouble with have been replaced with a company that knows how to paint. If we call about any problem, It's quickly handled. Truly, the new owners of the building seem to have solved all the problems we had this past year so in July we renewed our lease because things are back to the standards we have been used to experiencing here. They wanted to make sure we felt better about the previous problems and did not increase our rent this year which we felt was kind on their part. We stayed because It's a quiet building with a friendly trustworthy staff and we have great neighbors who for the most part are medical students at Northwestern who also enjoy the location and need a quiet kept up well building in which to live. The new owners are making things work as they should and we are pleased.

420 East Ohio is an excellent place to live. The views are amazing and proximity to the lake is plus. You will not be disappointed if you choose to live here for many reasons but, particularly, for the attention received.

420 E. Ohio is a fabulous place to live! The apartments are a great size, the staff in the management office - as well as the concierge desk - are informative, warm and welcoming and the building is well maintained! The lake view I have is amazing! Not only have I enjoyed fireworks twice a week this summer but also totally enjoyed seeing the Blue Angels fly past my breathtaking view! 420 E. Ohio offers everything from resident community connections, and wonderfully planned events for residents to attend, to an organized package room, a secure garage, and even a dog run deck for your loving pet. Everything you need is in walking distance from grocery stores, department stores, One Mag Mile, to Navy Pier and our beautiful lake. I would definitely refer 420 E. Ohio to anyone seeking a wonderful place to call home!

solid Bacility. location's Ahenomenal. Quiet, smaller community than other high rises in the neighborhood. Parking garage is tight and difficult to navigate, but worth it for $150/month. Easy access to LSD & interstates. Quiet block,1000 ft from the beach...

The front desk and maintenance staff is amazing. The communication from management when things are broke is poor and there can definitely be a lot of things broken. The location of the apartment building is perfect and I love looking at the water!

We rented an Auite for 5 days on a family trip to Chicago. location's amazing. spotless and comfortable apartments. The best of all is the personnel. We han a problem with a set of keys that wasn't related to the Auite mgmt and all the staff was helpful and friendly trying to help us fix the problem. The concierge, David, the maintenance guy, Sal, and even the manager got involved trying to help us and they Kent on trying until they solved the problem. My family and I are thankful to all of them for their commitment and their professionalism. It's a awesome spot with great people working in it.

The receptionist was of nationality, and his behavior was clearly racist, as he deliberately ignored us and refused to hand over the key to the apartment while I was with my elderly sick mother. He made her stand in the street until I mentioned to him that I would like to meet the official here, and after screaming, he accepted the key to us. Unfortunately, this made us hate the building and the apartment. You know what a receptionist should be like

Everything has been great, facilities and pool are usually free. Only concern is the package room is always a mess and hard to find anything. People also tend to not take care of the trash and leave it in the chute without pushing it down.

Bad management. Treated us poorly. Unclean outdoors and amenities. Too expensive for unusable amenities and outdoor area. I do not recommend and happy to move out. Great door staff and maintenance. It’s just management

Great community, staff's super friendly, good amenities and Broperty is spotless and in good condition. Large unit sizes, which is definitely a difference from some of the newer buildings around the neighborhood, plus great views of Navy Pier and Lake Michigan in many of their units.
