Do not recommend this property. I have been living here since 2015 and I must say this has been the worst experience I have ever seen and I have lived in several apartments in my time. Management is very poor, corporate office is poor, maintenance is so so. Since the April floods of 2016 these people from the owner to management team have displayed that they have no concern for their residents. They didn't try to help in any way all they wanted was their rent. They didn't care if you was living in a mold and dust infested apartment or not. The drug traffic increased I even told them about the dealer on the property but they didn't care. Security is terrible, manager, supervisor, and so on. No professionalism at all. And I think the owner doesn't care it's all about money. If you need an apartment and is a criminal or drug dealer then this is the place because they don't do background checks they just trying to fill them up. Also don't enforce pets laws Tenants dogs poop all over the property and not on leases.

This place is a good place to live if you have felonies or misdemeanors. Management works with you regardless of your criminal history or disablities

Very unhappy living here. So glad I only signed a 6 month lease. The neighbors are loud everyday, trash is always in the parking lot, I swear it's like the children never go to school sometimes. The apartments have roaches and will not go away no matter how hard you clean. I saw a flea one day. I strongly would not recommend living here. The tenants will bring outside drama into the complex which could mean damage to your property. Someone set a car on fire two months ago and mine was next to it. Management did nothing nor did she care.

Would not recommend anyone to move here unless you like people standing around your apt, you like to get robbed and if you like noise. Gates also never work and office kept harassing over rent that was already paid. If you HAVE to move here, make it your last resort

FAIR HOUSING VIOLATION ALERT! >In August of 2012, HCR (Houston Construction & Renovation) bought 7 City View apartments in Greenspoint; Salado, Breckenridge, Durham, Biscayne, Amherst, Crescent and City View West. At that time, the owner notified the managers of a back door policy to rent to illegal aliens. Illegal aliens were allowed to rent without proper ID and all they needed was a notarized letter stating that they work. On the other hand, US citizens were denied housing for having expired driver's licenses and also did not accept their notarized letter as proof of employment. THIS IS A DIRECT VIOLATION OF FAIR HOUSING RULES AND REGULATIONS. >If your application was denied for not having proof of income and they did not accept your notarized letter, then your rights were violated! You have three choices: (1) You can complain to the owner (Steve Moore, 16800 Imperial Valley #300/ 832-230-1096), but where is that going to get you? My manager, Cindy Sterling quoted the owner as saying he wished ALL his residents were (illegal aliens) because "they're the ones that pay their rent on time." My supervisor, Daniel Gray, said the owner was also planning to replace everyone in the leasing offices with bi-lingual employees to accomplish his goal. But Daniel said he talked him out of it because the company could be sued for equal employment violations. (2) Report it to HAA (Houston Apartment Association). Problem is, Matilde Luna, the Director of Resident Relations (713-595-0331/ [email protected]) basically said it's not HAA's problem but did give you this option: (3) "your next step would be pursuing the complaint in small claims, civil court or consult with a real estate attorney." So I say sue the fat cats! IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN VIOLATED THEN SOMEONE HAS. PLEASE REPOST FOR THE PEOPLE WHO WERE TREATED UNFAIRLY CAN BE VINDICATED.

This is not a place you want to live. Although the staff was friendly and the maintenance was good the apartment was overall terrible. During our short lease we had our window broken out, we were robbed and we were subject to generally unsafe scenarios. I have used the passcode for the front gate twice in the entire time I was there, it was left unlocked and opened at all times (even overnight and weekends). The rental agreement is a joke, every patio and balcony had trash, grills and even clothes drying on them, there were multiple large breed and aggressive breed dogs in the complex. Not only this complex but the entire Greenspoint area is an area for low-lives, drug dealers/users and outlaws. If you value your safety and your property stay clear of Salado at CityView
