I went to inquire about renting. The staff were busy talking on cell phones or video chatting and when someone did make eye contact it was as if I were disturbing them and I inconvenienced her whike she was in middle of a chat with her boyfriend after this I was givin an application to fill out and interest was lost after I didnt have paystubs to show even though I was only wanting a tour..Shortly after words I was givin an excuse why I couldnt get a tour and she walked to her little red SUV and continued her conversation in her car

This is one of the worst apartments to live in Houston, Roach(es) infested. Molds growing everywhere, incompetent staff giving inconsistent information, and if you're Black be careful .. Been living here well enough to know it was a terrible decision on my part to have moved out of the previous apartment I was living in, and also to know I need to get a house, since rent been paid monthly could get me a decent house on mortgage somewhere else.. My advice is that DO NOT COME HERE !!!

The property manager along with one of her workers takes cash money under the table to move in people that not documented, they always wanna come in your apartment to check to see if you have company and who all in the apartment. Roaches are bad but the main problem is that these people really act like you cant have visitors or guests, and lord please dont let nobody use your address for anything. Mind you there's no law in the state of Texas saying you can't use somebody else's address. Staff pretends to be your friend but plotting on how to kick you out apartment. One lady talks so rudely to people. There's five Nigerian families that lives in complex undocumented just because they paid them cash to let them stay. I was told all occupants had to be checked out but how if they have no id, ss, bc, or anything. Everybody over here is not a student in school since thats suppose to be the only way they suppose to be able to live here undocumented. ICE needs to come raid these apartments for real. My friend was living here with her mail friend for 5 months but all of a sudden the office put her out and he still lives here, you know why cause he paying them under the table. Its not a race thing but seems like if the Nigerians can pay under the table to move in, so can a child molestor, rapist, drug dealer, pimp, people with bad rental history, or even criminal history long as their money right.

We met with the leasing office staff, Unique, Amelia and Juanita on several occasions. We downsized from a home and were attempting to downsize from the large town home we had acquired while building our dream home. When we first spoke with Juanita she was very friendly and personable. When we came to meet the staff and view the property, the office was quite busy but they seemed to handle the traffic well. We discussed (with Juanita) that our current lease would not expire until the end of September but we would like to move in sometime in August. Juanita told us that they would work with us as far as 'logistics' in transitioning from the old place to the new place. We have a great relationship with our current landlord. Ms. Juanita stated that we must provide a zero balance in order to move in in August. We told her this would not be a problem as we would just compensate both places at the end of the month as usual. We filled out the subsequent forms and provided them to her office. We have never been offered a tour of the unit as we were told the units are 'not ready'. After our initial meeting, contacting the office proved difficult as the ladies are pulled in many directions and seem flustered when you finally get them on the phone. When calling today, July 18, 2016, Juanita was EXTREMELY rude and repeatedly spoke to us both (conference call) in a condescending manner. We were calling to gain clarification on move-in date and to finalizing our application. There was a simple miscommunication about the zero balance. We did not know WHEN the balance had to be 'zero'. Before move-in or after, so we called. We currently pay 1800.00 a month, Copper's largest unit is 915.00 a month. Financially, there wasn't an issue. Ms. Juanita explained to me that it would have to be zero balance prior to move in. This was not a problem. It just changed the date by two weeks in which we need to provide Copper with proper documenation. The problem that my husband and I have is the MANNER in which she explained this. Many people have questions during the application process. There was no reason for her to be aggressive, rude or condescending because we had simple questions. We called and told them to CANCEL our application (after approval) solely because of the way my husband and I were spoken to by Juanita. She fails to recall what she says to people and when you gently remind her she gets verbally aggitated. When faxing my employment verification she became verbally combative with my HR department, who also called her with questions. I apologized to HR on her behalf because I was embarrassed. When faxing our rental history she became verbally aggressive to our current landlord. Although we remained completely pleasant she would not allow us to speak and basically called us 'liars' by telling us she did not use certain words. Again, we just needed clarification. Moving is stressful and dates are important. We were not calling to complain, we were just calling to 'gain clarification' of our move in date and further requirements. I ended the conversation with her because she was extremely aggressive and at that point there was no need to continue the conversation because we probably would have ended up yelling at her. We remained calm and pleasant while after being verbally whip-lashed by her. After talking to my husband about how we were spoken to we decided to change our minds about leasing at Copper Cove. The other staff members seem to defer to her when we had questions. If this is how the office is run for people moving in, what is it like to live there? Beware and good luck in your search. The complex looks rather nice but the office should be run in a more professional manner. In the future, I hope that Ms. Juanita takes a moment to remind herself that she is working with adults--not children and also to respect them. Most adults are not going to verbally 'spar' with her. They are going to hang up the phone and move on. Decided to stay in our current lease while we continue to build! Hope this helps someone!

Copper Cove Apts have an new owner who have purchases several Apts property along the street. Don't be fool because the new appl. and fake wood floors. This property doesn't have an corporate office and office staff doesn't give f%^&*k. They have made huge changes and rude to the residents that have live on this property for over 8years. Maintenance is poor. Roaches are bad. Security is dirty and live on the property. Rent have increased $100's for the resident to renew and monthly is higher. Juanita front staff, don't be fool about her smile, she just trying to get u in to collect her bonus and she is very unprofessional when it come to paper work. Drive by talk to the different resident that been on this property for a long time. If I were you, I would rent a house before moving here. Don't say I didn't tell you so. I am moving out soon.

THESE APARTMENTS ARE HORRIBLE. I have lived on all different sides of town but I have never dealt with the types of things you deal with here. Seriously the Roaches are HORRIBLE I keep everything cleaned and bleached and they keep coming back. They charge you every month for pest control but it is not done. Also if you need anything repaired expect it to not happen however they will lie on the online portal and say its been done. The women up front are rude as hell and unprofessional ESPECIALLY Latoya, her and the property manager seriously need to get fired all ready. The pool is always closed and the office is constantly closed during business hours I've literally on 3 separate occasions sat out front for over an hour to try and pay the rent and still no one came back. So it seems to me someone is getting paid to go home. Also ONE MAINTENANCE for the ENTIRE COMPLEX. That's ridiculous. and the pricing... no I will never move into a ------ apartment like this for more than 450 because that's all its worth. The one laundry room they have is always messed up water leaking all over the place doesn't wash/dry clothes properly.
