I have the distinct privilege of being the oldest resident in both senses--I am a senior citizen and I've been in the same unit since Fall '06. I came to Houston in Nov. 2006 to enjoy my grandkids, but they up and left for a Northwestern state where I'll be moving very soon. I will miss my nest, the neighborhood, and most of all our longtime pro-active, experienced manager, Mrs. Carol Daniel who made my stay pleasant. Truly, I have no basis to compare The Grove to other complexes. In itself, I'd rank it a '5' for its orderliness, the seasonal changes I enjoyed from my 2nd floor (wow!!), the landscaping, the educated/ethnic/gender/professional mix around me, the quick, dependable decisions of the office for repairs and correction. I lacked for nothing.

I have lived at The Grove for the past 9 months and have completely enjoyed my experience. The Grove offers the unique experience of having all the luxuries of Houston within a few minute drive, but feeling like you have escaped the concrete jungle when you arrive onsite. The complex has an intimate feel to it as it is not as big as most apartment complexes in the area. In addition the pool is a great afternoon summer escape and the onsite staff is great, their customer service is the best in town! I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Grove and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking in the area.

We have almost come to the end of our lease and we have decided to extend our stay! Since first meeting Carol and Erin, they have been nothing but helpful and friendly towards us. Sometimes moving to a new place can be hard to adjust to and somewhat of an uncomfortable start, but Carol has done so much to help us enjoy our new home and make adjustments to better help our needs. I have lived in many apartments and avoiding the management team usually seems to be the best choice when trying to make for a decent stay (most of my experiences with apartment management have been them giving me a cold shoulder when in need). The team here at White Oak is one of a kind. From the management staff to the maintenance crew, everyone has shown that they care! I appreciate all the times Carol has quickly responded to me when I have reached out and she has been right along side when maintenance issues have occurred. Thank you for making our apartment our home and a more comfortable one at that! Much appreciation! Payton & Frank McFaden

I love living at The Grove. I used to be a home owner and once I decided to sell my home and try the apartment lifestyle I always asked myself why did I do this until I moved to The Grove. Carol and the team are hands down the BEST management team I have ever met. Everywhere I have lived I was only treated as a tenant, here at The Grove, I am treated as a friend. I can put full trust into the team to be able to know that what is said will be delivered when it comes down to service. I hope Carol gets a chance to see this, I have thanked her in person numerous times but a shout out is needed!!!! Thanks for everything, Grove. Hope to stay here for years to come!

The Grove at White Oak has been an excellent place to live the last three years. We're sad to leave due to an out of state relocation. The area is quiet, inside the loop with easy access to all freeways, next to greenspace, and has 2 fenced in on-site dog parks, nearly impossible to find in the city. Our dog loves hanging out with and playing with the other dogs in the parks. Carol the Community Manager has exceeded our expectations in every regard. She is available to everyone, personable, and makes sure everything is well maintained. Maintenance requests are handled very quickly. Even when submitting a 24 hour request, the issues have always been addressed and fixed by the maintenance staff within a few hours, even on the weekends. The lawn care company is here every week, and there is door to door trash pickup three times a week. Highly recommended.
