Ok, I read all the reviews about these apts where I lived for 3 months. I didn't have any problems there, I had to break my lease and leave due to a domestic violence situation. My abuser broke the window from my Dodge Van. I had to leave! I am sure I would still be living there....remember, not all apts are perfect no matter where you go. I am sure staff try their best. I had no problems with the staff at all. I am now in Florida and yes, the apts do have problems but at least they are trying to fix them. If I see improvements in any apts, that is because the staff are trying their best.

Well now there's water in my apt. Ok maintenance came out, sucked up the water and cleaned the carpet right after. How stupid can you be? They didn't even pull the carpet back and replace the materials under. They didn't give the carpet a chance to dry. Now there's an odor in my bedroom. I called the office and they stated, "we'll send someone back out only if it's at emergency." This is the most ridiculous apts ever. Water seepage will eventually cause mold. Mold makes humans sick. Mold will get you sued. They don't care about the tenants. It's not the owner, it's the office staff. If the owner only knew half of what's going on here. Hurricane Ike messed up these apts. I have water spots in the ceilings. They never came and fixed it. It's November, Ike was in September. This place is falling apart. I asked them to re grout the tile in the bathroom shower area. I asked them to fix the face plates on the phone plugs. They never came and fixed anything. When they do come out they do a half a** job. My sink is still leaking water. I am going to call Pinnacle Management and report these apts. Somebody need to call the news immediatley.

A name change GALLERY AT CHAMPIONS(now) and new paint colors don't change the moral of a place... I had to learn that the hard way. I moved here under a time constraint so with that and the knowledge that the complex was under new management and had undergone renovations...I felt that I was getting a good deal. With the renovations, each apartment got all new appliances, tile or wood flooring, tile countertops and shower...I mean the works. The only catch was that I wasn't told that I would be living in the continued renovations in neighboring apts. Within the first 2 weeks my A/C went out (1 of 3) and it took maintenance from my 10 am call to after 6pm to respond. There is only one maintenance person for the complex. I had to leave my apt and stay at a friends because the fumes were sooo overpowering from renovating. All in all the I had to call the Health Dept on 2 occassions due to the fumes and oh yeah the MOLD! They have changed the management 3 times in the months I have been here, and they have all been INCOMPETENT! None of them are capable of addressing any issues. This has by far been my WORST experience in apt living...I wouldn't reccommend a homeless person to live here!

I lived at this apartment for 3 years. It was three of the scariest years of my life. During that time there I had to call the police no less than 5 times. Crime was rampant (theft, drug use, etc.) and the management was beyond bad. The facility itself was yucky, though I think they were trying to revamp things around the time we moved out. The management was very slow to address concerns; one evening there was a copperhead ON OUR DOORSTEP. We called and asked for them to bring a shovel to kill it - or to let my husband kill it. They wouldn't even do that; the maintenance guy said he was afraid of snakes and didn't want to even get close to bring a shovel so my husband could kill it. Absolutely pathetic. Another time, we sighted (and photographed for proof) that there was a coral snake (NOT a king snake - it was red on yellow) in the grass nearby where all the apartment kids played soccer. Again, no response from management. After the copperhead incident, we went and bought a shovel. My husband did get rid of that one. Drunken fights were a common occurence, as well as loud, rowdy late-night parties that the mgt did nothing about. Parking was also a problem in our corner. There were never enough spots! Getting in and out of the complex is dangerous (as another reviewer posted). My husband was in a terrible accident (car totalled injuries) trying to get out one morning. I remember being so scared to try to get into the 1960 traffic - especially if, God-forbid, I needed to turn left. Very dangerous. We left the place in better (!) shape than when we moved in - and the management still took all our deposit. Crooked. The laundry room facilities were really, really gross. The happiest day of my life was the day we moved away from this "------" and into our first home. If you need an apartment - look elsewhere! I'd give this complex zero stars if I could. The only reason we lived there so long was that we couldn't afford moving costs / deposit on a new place. In hindsight, recognizing how incredibly dangerous it was, we should have lived in our cars if we had to rather than stay there. Yes, it really was that bad! (P.s. I lived there from 1999-2002....the computer has a glitch and keeps saying I lived there until 2008; that is inaccurate.)
