We have lived here for two years. We moved from a ------ apartment to this one, much much better, so I really have nothing negative to say. I was just happy to be on the north side of Westheimer. I like the area, everything is nearby. We never had any real problems. Except maybe not enough parking. If we had a maintainance problem it was usually fixed within 24 hours. We do miss Laura and the old staff, though. Not so confident in these new ladies. We need to move to a two bedroom and would have loved to stay here, but they were not very helpful. In fact they told us we were paying too LOW in rent for the one bedroom even though the rent was raised last year. And now they suddenly charge us for water, which we were never charged before. It's not bad here at all, wish I didn't have to leave, but can't afford what they want for a bigger apartment.

I have lived and been happy here at Times square for about 7 years. I know there are folks here that have lived here much longer. Yes, we still have our door to door trash pick up and yes the apartment is still in decent condition. I have been very distressed and depressed however to see a downward turn in the appearance of the property. I am in an area where there is practically no ground cover and much dirt (or mud depending on the weather) all over the sidewalks. I have slipped quite a few times when it rains no matter how hard I try not to. I have noticed a decline in the look of the fencing and notice peeling paint and rotten wood. I know that we have gone through a few property management folks and managers. I keep wondering what is happening here. I notice that there is a lot of new construction in the area, new and larger and more expensive. I know that this must be very valuable property that TS is sitting on. I am still baffled as to why I could only get a 6 month renewal on my lease. I am looking around as I want to be ready if I am told we have to move. I certainly will not be moving with any happiness in my heart. I won't recommend the place to people looking for a home with the doubts of the future. Time Square has been a haven of charm and civility for me here in Houston.

New Owners and Management don't care. Trash dumpster has been allowed to pile up and hasn't been emptied regularly for 2 WEEDKS!! Hot tub hasn't worked in a week. Dog pooh trash bags dispensers are empty. Grounds are not kept clean! Management rude and not responsive.
Go find someplace where management cares.

What I posted on 03-27-07 was true at the time. However, things really went down hill not long after. Numerous changes in managers and virtually no upkeep of the place (not due to the fault of the on-site maintenance staff, which were great; more due to the garbage pick up and landscaping). We have since moved (escaped?).

I recently moved from the Time Square Apartments after living there for 4 years. I decided it was time to purchase a home. I would still live there if it was not for my home purchase. During my stay at these apartments, I found it to be a great place to live. It is a small complex and has washers and dryers. The apartment staff was always courteous and helpful and I could always count on the maintenance man to fix any problems that I had. If you are looking for a quiet place to live, I say go there.

The only reason this was good place b'cus of the maintenance. Recent buy-out do not want to spend money anymore.
You wont believe they will charge you for small maintenance. I moved to Park At Voss loving it.
Apartment Manager putting some of the positive ratings here, so be-ware of the high numbers.
Thanks but no thanks.
In response to the anonymous review on January 8, 2007. I apologize that this resident seems to be discontent with the fact that 1) a new side/side refrigerator was not approved 2) new carpet not installed, when the carpet is only 6 months old and 3)lower the rental rate to their satisfaction. As a property manager it is my duty to treat all my residents as equal. I do not feel that the owner of our community is prepared to install 130 side/side refrigerators to please every resident. And only because this resident was given the "no" answers....he chose to speak negatively. Times Square overall has had good ratings!
Laura the manager of Times Square

Recently property management has changed. I was told, these people don't want to spend any more money on this property.Owner/upper management is not very tenant friendly!!
If anybody asks for feedback on this apartment, I would say... go find an alternative, for your own good!

The staff is courteous and polite, very helpful. Even while we were being shown around the complex before we were tenants, we were quite amazed at how the manager showing us around would still assist existing tenants if they needed her.

The buildings have a modern and a "home-like" appearance, not a "blocky" appearance that many other complexes have. It feels much more like a community of homes than any other complex we have looked at.

I would confidently say this is one of the best, if not *the* best complex of its kind in this area of Houston.

Manager, Laura, is friendly, accomodating, quick to respond, very customer service oriented, professional. Aims to keep residents happy. I hope she never leaves! Laura is a very big part of why this is such a great place to live.

Repairs accomplished quickly, and done right the first time! Friendly, respectful staff.

Quiet and clean here. Good neighbors. Grounds well maintained. Apartments in good shape - crown molding! wonderful patios, bright and cheerful. Daily trash pickup! What a luxury!

Plan on being a long-time resident. Feels like home.
