I moved, FREEDOM! What a relief to be away from Gables CityWalk. You don't want to believe the BS they are slinging in the leasing office. They'll lie to your face, the write themselves good reviews, pay renters to write more for them. You name it on how they'll scam you into signing a lease. And then when you move they'll make your life hell once you give notice. Terrible.

I love Gables CityWalk Waterford Square because it's in a good & convenient neighborhood. It's within walking distance of Trader Joes & Whole Foods & other stores & is close to public transportation, which is surprisingly efficient for Houston. My apartment is nice, has all the amenities I need & is well maintained. The grounds & buildings are also well maintained. There are nice swimming pools, outdoor BBQ grills & a fitness center. The staff is very friendly & helpful. It's a safe place to live. The rent is reasonable. I don't think there are any better apartments in the area.

Speacless .... I have lived here for five years, it was always nice and everyone in the officee took care of the tenants,until all managment change ,until over a month ago when a smoking weed tenant moved in next to my appartment ,When he smoke weed ,all smoke goes through ventilation in my apartment, i'm allergic to weed and have health problems when i breath smoke of weed, i've complained to management several times and they have emailed me informing them that they have warned him and i should see the difference from now on .And nothing !!! Again the same thing.Last night i have to send my underage son to sleep at my friend house because he couldn't breath to .This morning I called the office and they told me they couldn't do anything there, but they could call me even if my son was playing a game and raise the tone ??? I informed them about my problem several times e-mail, called curtosy officers ... and nothing again. Management sent me an email this morning that they can only transfer me to another apartment ... I'm shocked !!!!! They want me move and go through all moving thinks , even though half an hour ago my door was knocked by a courtosy officer who is police officer to , a very kind man to whom I explained my problem and who saw that I had been swollen since last night, this morning I couldn't even go to work !!!! When we spoke he smell weed from that apartment to ,tell me to go back to my apartment and he cnock on his door bu of course he didn't open it, and after that i get an email to they can only help me move me to another apartment ????I can't believe ,where are my rights here ????? This is email what i get from managment.I told them i will write bed rewievs and they encourage me to write.Worse time ever for me here. email from Gables office: My only solution is to transfer you to another apartment. Would that work? Please understand there is nothing I can do about an illegal smell without a police report. I cannot enter anyone's home, I cannot continue to call or send emails without proof. You have to understand that. Let me know if you are interested in transferring, we can discuss the options we have. We can even allow you to transfer to a sister property in the area (if you meet their qualifications) Also, it's your right to post online reviews. We encourage them. And this is their solution to my problem.I fell like she joke with me in e mail.!!!!Like they will allow me even move to sister property if i meet them qualifications,ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! !Plus 2 days ago I reported that my wall at the bath tub had detached, because everything is old and nothing, two days no one has to come and fix.Citywalk UPDATE:I went to office to speak with manager sho wasnt there ofcourse,i asked from guy there to hive me corporate office phone number ,he gives me wrong number ,than when i come home and saw he gives me wrong number i find number on google ,after some time he knock on my door ,like he bring me right number ,and i told him i am writing bed rewivs,than he told me to i have to be very ceruful what i writing on social media because i can validation my lease contract ,i felt like he threatening me if i write bed rewievs they can kick me from appartment ....I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I AM GOING TRUE,AND I AM NOT GOING STOP ,BECAUSE I HAVE MY RIGHTS !!!!!Gables Citywalk

Gables is great, location is amazing close to everything. Not perfect for medical center thought because of Greenbriar constrictions, the staff are nice. It's calm, nice neighborhood. We like our apartment.

I've lived at Waterford square for over a year now and my partner and I renewed our lease for another year! We love it! We live in the apt with the loft and it's wonderful. The staff is super nice and helpful and are always trying to have events (unfortunately they have most of them while I'm at work but whatever). My neighbors are all awesome, and it's not loud at all. The pool on our side is the place to be during the summer. There are always young people (sometimes families) lounging in and around the pool. The price cannot be beat for the area. I think our area is one of the best! Where else can you walk to Trader Jo's, Whole Foods AND HEB in under 10 mins! The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the apt are kind of dated (some of the appliances are older as well as the carpet) but our washer/dryer wasn't working and they replaced it with a brand new one the next day! The maintenance is so quick! Usually the issue is addressed within the day but 48 hours at the latest and they are so nice. Over all I love this place!

Waterford Square is a great property with unique floorplans that have tons of personality with large garden tubs and jacuzzi tubs in some units, oversized windows, and an exceptional leasing staff.

These apartments are in a great location, have character, good and spacious floor plans, and a nice neighborhood. The appliances are newly updated, washer/dryer is in unit, and a couple of pools onsite. It's a little pricey and I wish the gym were better, but overall I've been really happy living here!

Gables Citywalk has been wonderful from initial contact with office staff, move in process, to living experience. The office staff are friendly and responsive to all questions and concerns. The apartments have been well-maintained with being an older complex. Parking does fill up at night, but there are generally available spots. Overall, pleasant experience with Gables.

I just renewed my lease here for the fourth year in a row. Overall, I have been very pleased living in this community. Parking - Parking is very convenient. You can pay for covered parking or a garage spot, but it is not necessary. Occasionally on the weekends visitor parking gets full and guests have to park on the street in the area. Location - perfect location. Many businesses in walking distance (Trader Joe's, Jenni's Noodle House, Starbucks, and more). Noise - I live on an end unit and rarely hear any noises. Noise has never been an issue here. Apartment - The apartments are a little on the older end (popcorn finish walls, black appliances, carpet) and could be updated. Leasing Staff - 5 Star! Lately, I have been working a lot with Ashley and highly recommend her. She is very kind and personable. Once, she saw me walking to the leasing office to pick up a package and grabbed my package for me before I even made it through the door! All in all, I would recommend this community to others.

My overall experience with the Gables Citywalk has been very pleasant. The move-in process was a smooth transition, the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this community to friends.
