Do NOT move here! When I initially toured the complex, I was shown which unit would be mine and told I could see the model unit but not the actual one they showed me the door to. The leasing agent explained that the model unit was very similar to the unit I would receive. Lie #1. There were no similarities to the unit I was only shown after signing the lease. The unit was not clean, did not receive new carpet - in fact I had to clean it myself it was so filthy and worn, INFESTED with Spanish cockroaches so bad I could not move in for a few weeks until I got them under control. I have complained multiple times to the office staff and manager only to find them pretend to be shocked to hear there's a roach issue. I have spoken to residents in other buildings on different floors who have also commented about their roach infestation. While the rent is affordable, one must ask themselves if it's worth it to live with a reoccurig roach problem that management doesn't care about. Additionally, complaining to management does not resolve anything as they do not in force any "rules" put in place. When residents smoke inside their apartments the stintch travels through the ventilation system for the rest of the complex to smell. If you were considering stopping by- my recommendation is to keep driving.

I strongly dislike the office staff at this apartment complex, especially Takita. I have lived here since 2012 and she has always been unprofessional. She makes things inconvenient and difficult when I've needed requests for maintenance, picking up packages, and has given me the wrong rent bill information several times. I feel that all my unpleasant encounters with the office could have been prevented if their customer service was not even better, but normal. When a tenant requests to make an appointment to come in, they shouldn't respond by saying "We won't be able to see you at 5:00 pm (even if they close at 6 pm), because I have to pick up my kid at 6:00 pm". I'm sorry but that's not the customers problem if your daycare arrangements are exactly the same time you close. I've waited to write a review for this place to see if things can change or maybe my perception may be incorrect, but I think 2 years of waiting is patient enough!

Solid place to live! Prime location for a fair price. I've lived here a year now and I must say it's a quiet community with friendly neighbors. Any issues I have ever had were taken care of in a fair amount of time by the maintenance team. The new staff members in the office that have taken over in January have made a world of a difference as well, nice to talk with great customer service. As of now I am content here in my current home Meyergrove.

Do not live here. Bottom line. I moved in a year ago and though everything would be fine. When I signed my lease i was promised a balcony for my dog and a working elevator to the third floor because I have a bad knee due to an accident. When I got to the apartment with the movers I noticed a rotting smell in the hallway which I reported immediately. 11 months later not only has the smell become overpowering in the hallway but it has come into my apartment making my whole apartment smell like rot and mold. The smell is coming from a section of rotting hallway ceiling that I have been reporting continuously since I moved in. Instead of fixing it like they promised they told me they were waiting on a quote and installed an automatic air freshener fixed to the ceiling next to the hole. I will say though the piece of wood nailed to the ceiling and painted white is definitely innovative, but, has not stopped the dripping or rotting smell. I awoke one night to the smell of electrical fire, this started the six month battle with the elevator. It would stop with people in it or just not run at all. With my knee this made it difficult to get groceries take laundry up and down etc. when reported (the fourth time) I was told that despite my claims they were sure the elevator had been working the whole time and did not know what they could tell me. I like to think im a bright girl, when I push the elevator button and wait and nothing happens is this a working elevator? I was also told on several occasions that I owed money and that if I didn't pay immediately I would be subject to all the fines under the sun. I would hurry over in a panic to find that there were in fact no charges and I was not going to be evicted "their bad." The new office staff is so disrespectful to top it off. after 9 months of living there I could not take the smell and my knee couldn't take the stairs and my nerves could not take the attitudes of the staff. I am currently paying two rents just to avoid living in the stench. its disgusting. dont do it.

I have lived at Meyergrove since August 2009. The complex was managed by Greystar, a wonderful company who staffed the complex with fantastic employees. Whenever I had the slightest problem, the staff responded efficiently and helpfully. Indeed, I loved living here. Then, in February 2012, the complex was sold to Rockwell Management, who staffed the complex with an absolutely dreadful, incompetent manager--Kiki--and her employees. For the past two years, my problems have been largely unresolved by the staff. It really is difficult to come up with a better word than "incompetent." My biggest complaint is the dogs next door that repeatedly bark. I have reported this many times to management, but to no avail. Oftentimes the barking will last well past midnight. In addition, the property is in bad shape, the grounds are dirty, the staff is rude/aloof/unhelpful/ambivalent, and the prices are outrageous for the product and services. I do not want to write a long story about this place--brevity is the soul of wit. But...DO YOURSELF A FAVOR: DO NOT LIVE HERE. I SPEAK FROM 4 YEARS EXPERIENCE. (I am only now moving out because I recently finished school and can now afford a nicer, newer place).
