Terrible, terrible, terrible....I moved to Texas from New Jersey back in January 2012 and I moved in these apartments. I cannot wait for my lease to be up in September, I have already started looking for a new place. There are mornings when I come out and there is trash all over the place. My neighbors and I share the same porch, and they leave their trash on the porch which causes flies to get into my apartment. Now here's the run down, ROACHES.....ughhhhh I am not a fan of them and wish to never live with them again, there are roaches everywhere some timy and some as big as my thumb, I've had to waste food because of them, there are lots of spiders and yes they bite, they are not fatal though thank god, but my husband and I were bitten several times, the AC oh don't get me started. Out of the 6 months that I've been here it probably worked for one complete week, it was 102 degrees one day and I felt like I was going to die, the pools are always dirty, so I'd rather not get in them, and also, I have a cat who has been an indoor cat, he never goes out, I've had him since he was a kitten and he is now 6 years old, again, he never goes out however, he has fleas. Yes, there are fleas embedded into the rugs oh don't let me forget, Bed Bugs. The bed bugs run these apartments, also the laundry almost never works, I have used so much money washing over and over and drying over and over only to bring the clothes in my apartment and hang them everywhere to dry anyway. I realized in my first week that I didn't want to be here, however, I signed the lease so I had to follow it out. Thank god its almost time to go....So please run from this place. What a way to start my first time in Texas...Not too many crimes over here to my knowledge, but I do my research and found out that there are 3 registered sexual predators that live here, so if you have children, I suggest you look elsewhere.

My lease finally ended with this horrible horrible place! This was my first apartment ever and I just signed a lease with the cheapest place I found. The roaches were so bad, I had no furniture yet so was planning on sleeping on the floor but I counted more than five at one time, they were on my walls, floor and ceiling, I called a friend and asked to stay with them, and the main office set off smoke bombs the next day but it was even worse the next 3 days and there were still way too many for comfort. I'm a clean freak so it's not like I left food and dishes out, I kept dirty clothes in the hamper. But there was always an issue and all they would do was have someone come in and spray along the walls or the smoke bombs when it was really bad. I rarely cooked and once a cup or plate was out of site I wouldn't drink or eat off of it. I never let anything touch the ground in fear of something crawling in or on it and I was afraid to have my 2 year old son visit because I didn't want him getting bit or having them crawl on him. I was always looking where I walked or touched so I wouldn't come into contact with them, there were large roaches, medium and small ones. I lifted up a shoe once and at least 30baby roaches crawled from underneath, I kept all opened food in the fridge. In addition to the roaches, the outdated workout equipment is always broken, one out of two of the laundry rooms caught on fire and was still closed off 3months latter. And if you plan on using the free internet, it's constantly having problems, sometimes the first person in the room would pick up signal and no one else will... Speaking of computer room, the people in there were creeps. I had several men hit on me, one man who looked 50 (I was 21 at the time)gave me a lecture and said I looked like I'd be a good mom, should be Mormon and have 5 or 6 kids, then said I should go to church with him. Another guy I met there might have figured out which building I was in because he kept bumping into me and asking why we couldn't hangout. I kept telling him I wasn't interested and I was too busy, he seemed to have a bit of a temper and whenever he "bumped" into me he would act like I never told him "No". The apartment itself was not horrible, it was incredibly spacious, I had no issues of noise with my neighbors, the pool was nice, I never had an issue with parking, but I parked on the street since it was right next to my patio. To get to the apartment I had to walk down a hallway with ugly green carpet, a neighbors door looked like it was covered in dried blood the entire 9months I was there and the grass is littered in dog poo and in poor condition. There is no way I could ever live in a place like this again.

Never live in this apartments. They are not cheap plus everything is old. They have roaches. Water leaks. The water in the shower is too hot or too cold. When you call to the office to fix the problems in those apartments they never come to fix it. After a few months they come,so it means be have to live with this nastiness. Never in my life i imagine to live in this situation, cause they are not a cheap apartments. They have dog poo everywhere around the street, you can' t even walk on the sidewalks plus smell horrible. They give us the energy free, but many times they cut the energy off. They are always fixing problems with the ac, so in this hot weather is uncomfortable to deal with that. Oh i forgot they cut the water at least 1 time per month, cause of the problems in the pipes. Neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

SO MOVED IN THIS PLACE IN FEBRUARY 2012; ASKED AROUND BEFORE WE MOVED; GOT REPLIES THAT MAINTENANCE IS TERRIBLE THEN FOUND OUT FOR OURSELVES, THE BUILDING IS OLD AND THERE ARE CRACKS AND CREVACES, UNDER THE CORNER OF OUR CARPET THERE WAS A HOLE THAT A FREAKIN CAT COULD GET THROUGH; MY BOYFRIEND MADE NUMEROUS REPAIRS TO THE PLACE ON HIS OWN! IT IS NOW JUNE AND THEY HAD THE A/C TURNED OFF BACK IN MAY TO "WORK ON IT" NOW ITS JUNE AND THE PAST TWO WEEKENDS THE COMPRESSOR HAS BEEN OUT FOR THE ENTIRE D BUILDING, I HEAR BABIES SCREAMIN, NEIGHBORS ARE FIGHTING MORE THAN USUAL (I HAVE ACTUALLY HEARD A WOMAN GET CHOKED NEARBY) BECAUSE ITS TOO HOT ITS JUNE IN HOUSTON, COME ON! AND THE TRASH THAT PILES OUTSIDE OUR FRONT DOOR IS RIDICULOUS, MY NEIGHBOR HAS REPEATEDLY CALLED ABOUT IT; PPL WHO LIVE CLOSER TO THE DUMPSTER LEAVE BIG BAGS OF KITCHEN TRASH IN A THIRTY GALLON TRASH CAN SO EVERYDAY WHEN I COME HOME MY FRONT PORCH HAS SIX BAGS OF TRASH IE DIRTY DIAPERS AND SUCH, ITS DISGUSTING. THE A/C IS WHAT REALLY BURNS ME UP AND THEY TOLD MY NEIGHBOR IT WAS BROKEN UNTIL IT GETS FIXED I MEAN REALLY! THEIR MAINTENANCE IS A JOKE AND THE WASHING MACHINES WORK ON THE LEFT SIDE, IF YOU USE THE ONES ON THE RIGHT SIDE THEY FLOOD THE LAUNDRY ROOM AND GOOD LUCK FINDING A DRYER THAT WORKS, AND WHEN TENNANTS TRY TO LABEL THE ONES THAT WORK AND DONT WORK, MAINTENANCE WIPES OFF THE MARKER. THEY ARE A JOKE, ALL MAINTENANCE SHOULD BE FIRED AND A WHOLE NEW TEAM BROUGHT OVER WHO WANT TO WORK, I HAVE SEEN MAINTENANCE MAYBE THREE TIMES SINCE WE MOVED IN. WHAT ARE THEY DOING ALL DAY....... ELECTRICITY IS INCLUDED BECAUSE THE A/C GOES OUT SO FREAKIN MUCH....DONT MOVE HERE

I have lived here for almost 3 years. The cost has been reasonable til they started charging for water and I have a family of 4 living in a one bedroom apt below me and they divide the water bill and say they consider the amount of people in the other apt to one. I wonder at times. Have seldom been bothered here...live out by the bayou and it's beautiful but people come from everywhere to party back here. It's gotten to where you can hardly find a place to park. Loud music and parties but they have been cracking down on them after 10pm. During the morning hours it is quiet and peaceful, after 3pm forget about it. Drug dealing and parking in back parking lot at night...Gun shots heard off and on threw the few years. Cops out here off and on. One on an illegal living nxt door a few weeks ago. Laundry rooms suck..broken down alot. Dryers seldom work. Office people always nice...repairs taken care of quickly. Some roaches lately, never before now. Never change filters in A/C. Moving soon.

When we first moved in there were Roaches EVERYWHERE!!!! It was so bad it almost drove us to break our lease. We tried everything from boric acid to fumigation nothing seem to work. Until we found this brown gel stuff that got rid of them in a matter of days, we've only seen a couple of the roaches since. It was horrible though, and on top of that instead of replacing things that need to be replaced (ie a rusty bathtub) they PAINTED over it! As if that would solve the problem! Everything was newly painted from the ceiling and walls to the lightsockets to the drains and the bathtub. The water changes from boiling to freezing incredibly easily its a joke. Now we haven't had a problem with the A/C . So that's lucky. But if we turned on our heater it smelled like something was burning, setting off our fire alarm. And we can one of our neighbors quite distinctly at all times of the day or night, it seems like they never leave...... I love the fact that when an apartment laundromat, that we used regularly (though most of the machines were broken), caught on fire but we weren't informed. And considering how close the fire was to us that's just reckless endangerment. Its soo lovely to know that the management cares soo deeply about its tenants and not the depth of their pockets (lovely thing sarcasm). I have more to say but I hope that instead of choosing this lousy place you look at the others close by. I believe almost all have better ratings.

I thought it would be a nice apartment complex for young professionals and this was not the place for me to move to. It has no upsides to it, only downsides. I thought that I could move into a young professionals environment and not pay a lot of money but no. This isn't the place you want to move into. You literally become depressed and won't feel like living anymore. If you don't believe me, move in and you will see what I mean. There are actually pimps and prostitutes that live here and it's honestly a mental depressant. I'm moving into a different area of Houston, because this isn't the place to be at all. Friday and Saturday nights are the worst. Sirens all night long, loud music and smoke pits flaring. I didn't realize how the management was until moving in. It's not like other apartment complexes within the loop, so you're pretty much in an infested apartment complex. I can't wait to get back around young professionals because this place gives me the creeps. Just because someone wears a shirt and tie doesn't mean they're a young professional. Don't move in here, you will really want to kill yourself. Washer and dryers never work and you will lose your money. If you go to management, they will tell you they can't do anything about it and you will lose money. They don't want to work here, so why do you want to live here? The only good reviews are the people getting paid to work here because they need a paycheck.

Creekside is the worse place to stay. There is a lot of noise, drugs, and robberies. Yes they have security but they don't do their job. Often I found the security parked holding conversations with girls. When it rains it starts to leak inside my apartment. The managerment always send someone to work on the problem but it's the same situation every time it rains. The people or loud and hang out by the pool at all hours of the night. My neighbors had there places broken into several times. Also roaches are a major problem here. Creekside don't do anything about them. Please don't waste your money are you will regret it. Also one of the ladies in the leasing office is a ----- she is always out by the pool flirting filling up men and woman. She should get fired!!!!

I submitted a service request on Monday, August 1,2011. Today is Saturday August 6, 2011 and nothing has been fixed. I understand this is an old community, and with it being summer A/C's must be going out left and right. Obviously someone dropped the ball with my service requests yet they are quick to place an evicition notice on my door for a rent check THEY MISPLACED. I will not be renewing my lease, and I will never live at a Greystar Managed Property.
