I have been living here for about 6 months and have really enjoyed my stay thus far. First of all, the property is gorgeous and it's refreshing to see management take pride in that. The very few times I needed any type of maintenance done, its was done in 1-2 days and correctly. Lots of amenities to enjoy and no loitering or sketchy characters to be found. I have always worked with April and she is very personable, efficient, and customer service oriented. I would definitely recommend these apartments and I would also say they are a step above the rest. I've liked my stay here thus far and I dont have anything to complain about.

IVE BEEN LIVING HERE SINCE 2010. THE COMPLEX IS FAIRLY NICE ITSELF. MY BOYFRIEND AND I ADORE OUR APARTMENT BUT EVER SINCE WEVE BEEN HERE IT SEEMS AS IF THERE ARE NEW LEASING AGENTS EVERY OTHER WEEK; JUST VERY UNSTABLE. THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX IS DEFINITELY GOING DOWNHILL. THERE IS A SECURITY GAURD HERE WHO OBVIOUSLY SERVES NO PURPOSE! WE CURRENTLY HAVE VALET TRASH BUT THEY HAVE RECENTLY CHANGED UP THE RULES: THEY OBVIOUSLY DONT MIND PUNISHING THE MAJORITY OF THE RESIDENTS FOR THE SELFISHNESS OF A FEW CARELESS RESIDENTS WHO LEAVE THERE TRASH OUT WHEN THEY PLEASE SO I AM SURE THAT VALET WILL BE GONE IN NO TIME. OH AND IF YOU DECIDE FOR WHATEVER REASON YOU NEED TO BREAK YOUR LEASE THEY WILL MAKE YOU PAY YOUR RENT UNTIL YOUR LEASE IS UP REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH. THEY DONT CARE AT ALL FOR THEIR RESIDENTS! DONT FALL FOR THE BEAUTIFUL POOL ITS ALWAYS FREEZING AND I MEAN FREEZING! I COULDNT EVEN GET IN ON A HOT HOT SUMMERS DAY! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

I lived in these apartments for 2 years. When I first moved in, all of the staff were friendly, the property was clean and well-kept, and I just loved it. However, once the manager died and other managers left, this place went to hell. Property was not kept clean, gym door doesn't lock and ANYBODY can come in, loud pool parties, etc. The current management consists of the most unprofessional people I have ever met. They are all useless when it comes to addressing your needs, they avoid phone calls, lie, and charge you a ridiculous amount for moving out. How on earth does one go from a $15 increase in rent one year and then $100 increase with no incentive? The rent-a-cop that "patrols" at night just walks around with some teenager while people are getting robbed at gunpoint and apartments are broken into. This place is not worth moving to, especially for the price. I'm so glad to be done with this complex. Apparently others feel this way because I found a website: www.nofountainsatalmeda.com You have been warned, do not move here if you plan on living in a safe environment for a good price with professional management. The sad thing is, I used to root for this place (hence my screename) and had defended it, but with this new management, I can't.

I'm reading other reviews and majority are correct in regards to the train noise and the office staff. As I'm writing this review I can clearly hear my neighbor closing doors and talking through the walls (not to mention the other joyous things I hear at night), so I know they can hear on their side as well, which is sad. The problems I think everyone will have (besides the train!) is the lack of sound proofing walls/floors if you live below someone. This is my 3rd apt since moving to Houston and I think that is the norm building code for all new apts. Crime is spotty, we get those letters every now and then about apt/car break-ins. I recommend you get your alarm set up with a security provider. As for parking it is not an issue for me as I live in the back near the wooded area, but when I do come home after 8ish I don't see parking for the front tennants. The pool is open for all of Houston to take a dip in the summer (sigh), same with the gym. Overall I would say no thanks for renewing next year. I am done with apt living thanks to living here, time for a house!
