“I lived at Sleepy Hollow over 10 years. in the middle of that Cole bought the complex and ruined it, bullied the tenants on a fixed income (I was one of them) NEVER fixed anything and then they raised the rents.

COLE BLOCKED the red zones reserved for emergency vehicles, tore down trees which this place was known for, and generally were rude and non responsive.

Cole was an out of town owner who bought this place when Houston went down the tubes. He had NO management on site for half a year!

No one had any idea where to leave their checks or who to call for help. Then they rented to anyone who had the money and KEPT THEM even after we had to CALL THE POLICE because of the noise & danager! Also car break-ins and thefts escalated! THEY did nothing to help and each time pointed to some flimsy policy about your car is your responsibility...they did nothing for anyone.

It was a nightmare I am glad I finally was able to leave.

I guess it's been destroyed.”

When the Cole Company took over they raised the rent and illegally evicted an elderly tenant who still had over a year on her lease.
Since that time they have obliterated the character and charm of the original buildings, now to add insult to injury they are tearing down this historical apartment building to build McCondos.
I hope they go bankrupt.”
