Pros: Great proximity to Prospect Park, I had an amazing view being on the 21st floor. I lived here with friends and it was incredibly affordable especially for the amount of space and storage we had. Cons: The elevator was broken frequently (there are 3 and sometimes 2 would be broken at the same time) and I have had to climb 21 flights of stairs to get back to my unit because I didn't have 30 minutes to wait for the elevator amongst all the other tenants. Advice to landlord: Please fix the elevators

Pros: I love how big each unit is, thats what makes these apartments gems in nyc. The price is good for the space you get. My unit is renovated and my kitchen is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen in Brooklyn for what I’m paying. Also the heat in the winter is unmatched, it’s also so warm. The new laundry in the basement is also great. Cons: Overall the building itself isn’t very nice and it’s not as clean as I’d like it to be. There’s so many of us living there so I feel like there needs to be more cleaning overall and some beautification that needs to be done. The landlord isn’t very nice either, I’ve had some weird things happen while living there and he didn’t really care. Also when I first moved in my unit was infested with roaches but this was mostly due to the pervious tenant not calling the exterminator. Since then I’ve been able to eliminate the roach problem. Advice to landlord: Building restoration needed

Pros: Neighbors can be nice. Apartment is a decent size. Cons: Management does not have adequate staff to function for this building and the others in Ebbets Field. No weekend or holiday maintenance. Security does nothing about loud music or parting outside. Management takes their time dealing with issues. The building is not maintained well, staircases are awful and smelly. Elevators always brake down. They also charge a fee to have an AC. Advice to landlord: Put money into a full staff and actually fixes to the buildings like the elevators. Actually care about the people that live in these buildings.

Pros: Heat, water, garbage removal. Laundry room in the building. Cons: Noisy neighbors, chaotic over the summer. Fireworks that may hit your windows around the fourth of July, so you wont get sleep. Tons of roaches and mice! Some apartments have bedbugs as I have seen pest control here on many occasions and have heard from other neighbors. The building is just so huge overall. At one point only 1/4 elevators were working and we had to walk up the stairs. Note this building has 25 floors. Also there is a lack of security in the building , i have seen jehova whitnesses, homeless people etc
