We are going on sour second year at Ruppert towers. We initially loved the building. But we soon started to find out that it wasn't as great as we initially thought. The windows are terrible. They are very drafty and leak. We complained several times to maintenance and the response was ridiculous. They put wax around the windows to block the water from leaking in. I asked what if I want to open the windows? The guy just says "remove it". Thanks. A bit bootleg for paying $3,200 per month. The windows also let in very strong drafts. I like cold but it is too much. We have an infant and complained several times. The no so smart person in the management office blamed out humidifier on the windows frosting over and heat not working well enough. After about 5 maintenance visits they finally has a solution. They put old t shirts to cover the drafts on the windows. You have got to be kidding me. Another guy came in and installed pig socks as they are called. Better but still not ideal. The upstairs neighbor is very loud and wakes up our baby almost every night. On windy nights our interior walls make a very noisy creepsy sound. That also wakes up the baby. So not so ideal living environment for us. We love the location, doormen and common areas. The management office is lacking in customer service skills. Overall I think the rent is too damn high for the cheap windows and poor response to valid complaints.

I bought 2 apartments in 05 and 07 I have found that the building and the grounds are just wonderful in many ways. We have a private street between the 2 towers that is closed off to vehicle traffic allows the pedestrains to roam freely and the kids to play. The grounds are kept very clean inside and out. The management staff is a pleasure to deal with. The apartment units are nice and spacious. Very close to subway. People in the building seem to be very friendly.I truly feel I made the right choice in buying my apartments here.

Not one complaint. Great staff, well maintained, respectful residents. Laundry, outdoor deck, playground, NYSC, garage, valet all on site. Neighborhood has fantastic schools, wonderful eateries and shops. Within walking distance to all the Museums, Central and Carl Schurz Parks, Asphalt Green, 92nd Street Y, city and express buses, 4, 5 and 6 trains, water ferry, and all only 15 minutes from LaGuardia. PERFECT!

After 10 months of renting a 1-bedroom in this Yorkville Towers, my wife and I were so happy that we recently bought a 3-bedroom condo here. <br><br>The complex leaves nothing to be desired. It's a great home for singletons, families, and retirees. Great building with gym and garage, superb residential neighborhood with fantastic restaurants and schools, close to transportation - it has it all!<br><br>

My husband and I have lived in a junior 4 in Yorkville Tower for 2 years. We love it so much, we want to buy our apartment. The staff are wonderful (especially the doormen), the building is well kept (hallways are in need a renovation) and the neighbors are wonderful. I highly recommend this building to young professionals.

Clean well-maintained building - efficient and cordial doormen and staff - pleasant neighbors - major convenience of in-house NYSC gym, garage, valet, bicycle room, laundry facility, dry cleaning, maid services, sun deck with BBQs - near great schools, restaurants, 92nd Street Y and tennis courts - centrally located between Central and Carl Schurz Parks - quick access to 4,5,6 trains, FDR, and LGA - couldn't ask for more!!<br><br>ALL HAS MADE LIFE HAPPY AND MY HOME 'SWEET HOME' THE PAST 7 YEARS.<br><br>PLAN TO BE HERE AT LEAST ANOTHER 7 YEARS!!

windows leak, service terrible, maintenance is poor, mold exists in apartments, elevators dont work properly, multiple lawsuits against management.
