Pros: Good gym, pool, huge windows, rooftop Cons: Peloton bike is always broken and leasing office took never replied on the available apartments, I literally had to come here to check out by myself. $30 for a 2h timeslot in the pool is too much

Pros: Apartments are huge and clean (brand new because the building was renovated in 2017 - I was the first tenant in my apartment and got brand new everything), concierge staff is AMAZING, the lobby always has a good clean smell because they clean frequently, the common areas are really spacious and well taken care of, the gym is REALLY GOOD for an apartment building, the VIEWS are so amazing, the maintenance staff is amazing and SO QUICK. This place is super close to so much (and especially so many amazing restaurants). The building would always throw resident events in the clubhouse and they were always so much fun. Cons: Management is slow to respond and sometimes just ignores messages. I was one of the original tenants in this building (always in good standing) and tried to downsize when one of my roommates moved out due to Covid. There were apartments available, metroloft just didn’t get back to me on available apartments in a timely manner (literally gave them 5 weeks). Eventually I had to just call it and pursue someplace else to live. Really sad to leave, I loved living here. Management should have tried to keep me especially because I was paying at a premium. Now most of my floor has moved out (presumably due to similar issues). Advice to landlord: Know that you already have some good tenants - maybe you should try and retain people just as much as you try to get new tenants. Sending email updates is not hard and shouldn’t take so long (even transparency along the lines of “I will get back to you soon” would be better than no response).
