Pros: Lived in building 315 for the last 3 years. Literally zero complaints other than the outside noise from FDR. Otherwise i've seen zero rats while I lived here and the occasional roach in the laundry room. My unit was very well maintained and if something was wrong stuytown is very quick to respond. Packages were never stolen and building staff were always friendly. Cons: Constant noise from FDR which is all day and all night of cars, sirens and motorcycles. Could never open windows and had a hard time adjusting to the noise all night. Occasional crazy neighbors but nothing that bothered me personally.

Pros: friendly, quiet neighbors and well managed building Cons: maintenance took forever to respond to requests unless you expressed it was very urgent

Pros: Safe neighborhood, good building with utilities included Cons: Management often took a lot time to answer maintenance requests and proved to be challenging at times

Pros: Management quick to respond to maintenance requests, laundry in building, great location within StuyTown, neighbors are friendly & quiet for the most part Cons: Walls within the apartment & between apartments are thin, no control over the heat & they crank it up in the winter so it’s sweltering inside

Unit MH Pros: So many wonderful amenities in Stuytown, everything is close by and this building is far enough from 14th st that you don’t hear the bustle of the city. Nice neighbors, lots of cats and dogs. Cons: Had mouse and cockroach issues in the kitchen area. Management handled the mice but the roaches persisted.

Pros: Laundry in building, fast management response rate, quiet location in Manhattan. Cons: Chronic bathtub drainage issues, so we had to call maintenance to fix it often.

Pros: Green space outside! Cons: Junior 2 bedrooms do not have a window in living room. Designed for roommates vs. families. Advice to landlord: Windows for light in living rooms.
