Pros: Very clean. I have never seen a bug or rodent in the building, even on the ground levels (I live on the 9th floor). Very safe area. Big windows. Cons: The buildings are old and you can't control the heat. My common area didn't have a window, which was a little dreary. Otherwise, it's amazing. Advice to landlord: No words of advice other than to please lower the rent so that I don't have to leave.

Pros: Managed by Stuytown, and they are really good "landlords". The whole community is very safe and walkable and have multiple events throughout the year. Cons: - Right next to Con Edison plant - Living room is always dark (so we had to add artificial lights) Advice to landlord: More artificial light installments in the building :)

Unit 3H Pros: garbage chute on every floor, trash taken out multiple times a day Cons: my apartment is next to the stairwell and it is LOUD. neighbors like to invite people over who congregate in the hall and sounds carries

Pros: Great location, spacious when compared to other Manhattan apartments (esp. prewar). Where community and amenities (basketball court, big green courtyard, gym, playground, etc). Cons: Good amount of maintenance for water lines, heat, etc. But they time it when most people would be out. Not a lot of bad things to say here

Pros: very spacious, good value, nice neighbors, and greenery is beautiful, low rent increases given rent stabilization Cons: parking sucks if you have a car, maintenance is okay (slow and you have to chase them to get work done at your apartment) Advice to landlord: fix maintenance and your golden

Pros: Amazing location. Clean building. Convenient to MTA and grocery shopping Cons: Complaints were submitted by most people in the building regarding a neighbor- unfortunately management didn’t do much other than send security to “check things out.” This led to the decision to not renew my lease as I was the lucky one to live next door Advice to landlord: Listen to and actually do something when neighbors have to consistently call security over barbaric neighbors
