My move-in experience has been wonderful. The location, floor plans available, amenities, community, and organization of Canvas LA has all contributed to my move here. The leasing and management staff are friendly and the maintenance crew is prompt. There is great security, parking options, and accessibility. I have thoroughly enjoyed my few weeks of living here so far, and have already recommended the complex as an option to some of my friends who are looking into new apartments in the future.

Canvas is the best community in LA DT! Pool, Gym, everything is cool. Sadly only that coronavirus force leasing team to do some restrictions. But obviously, this is a big problem of humanity and not Canvas team fault. Highly recommended! Additional Thanks to Bill for fast and high-quality service.

Perfect walking distance to all downtown location venues. Our sons have walking distance to excellent magnet schools. Shopping, site seeing, dining galleries, theaters, Disney Orchestra Hall, LA Opera, The Broad etc are within walking distance away.

Love downtown area!! Lot of restaurants and activities that makes it exciting!! I can see downtown at night from my apartment and its so pretty!! Several parks to chose from!! My favorite is tennis courts which is also located nearby and in great shape!!

the levels of inconvenience that i have experienced are outrageous...no elevators for months, excessive construction, constant rotarion of staff in leasing office, lack of availability during office hours.

The elevators have to be fixed. They have been broken for months at this point and everyone keeps saying it's going to be fixed it's going to be fixed. I pay 2k per month and living on the fourth floor with going up four to five flights every single morning is crazy.

I deeply regret leasing here. This is a 300+ unit, 5 story highrise. None of the elevators have worked for months. False fire alarms happen on average once a week. Since the elevators haven't worked in some time, residents are forced to use the stairwells which are an exercise in holding your nose, since homeless often live in them and the smell of urine on the ground floor landings is horrific. You still have to walk through it though. The apartments used to be under different management but since Greystar took over this place has become a filthy hell. Stay away!

Mark our leasing agent was a wonderful help with our move-in on day of. Our loft space is exactly what we wanted and the amenities at Canvas LA are a bonus! The community here seems to be quite friendly also!

The apartment is overall nice but ever since the management changed Im gonna say that everything has gone down hill. I dont know why, but the trash room is always overfilled and disgusting. Also the maintenance isnt consistent about telling me when theyre in my apartment to finish a job.
