I've resided here since the second building launched in August and I'm honestly blown away by how stunning my place is. I'm in the biggest 2 bedroom corner stack unit with breathtaking vistas overlooking downtown. I genuinely enjoy displaying my place to friends and throwing small get-togethers. The team managing the property is great and always quick to address any maintenance or resident concerns. The facilities are fantastic. They've even got a cinema! DaVinci is truly an amazing community to call home!

this place is infested with cockroaches throughout. All elevator floors are covered in pet urine. Residents fail to dispose of garbage properly, yet mgmt turns a blind eye. The majority of fitness center equipment is broken and non-functional. Manager Judith is rarely present or accessible. There's no maintenance staff stationed at the property.

I've been here for over a year and just renewed my lease for another year. Although I'm not too fond of the tandem parking situation for my 2 bedroom, everything else has been great here. The staff is friendly, they have great amenities and maintenance is on point. I highly recommend.

I just extended my lease agreement at Da Vinci and couldn't be happier with the decision! Da Vinci sits in an great location within downtown LA. Convenience 's built into this place—practically everything you need 's right nearby. mgmt team 's fantastic. Jocelyn went above and beyond assisting me with parking arrangements, and I haven't encountered any problems since. I frequently suggest Da Vinci to anyone in search of a downtown apartment.

Have quite a bit to share here. Let me start with what works: 1. Location 's reasonably easy to multiple downtown business hubs. Just avoid the outer section of units if you can—highway traffic noise 's a real problem there. 2. Building 's pretty recent, constructed around 2-3 years ago. 3. Rent 's competitive given how new the property is. 4. Maintenance responds quickly when you need repairs done in your unit. 5. pool, fitness center, and hot tubs are well-maintained and enjoyable. 6. Security/"courtesy patrol": Someone's available around the clock to visit apartments if neighbors are being disruptive or loud. It's a thoughtful service, but sadly it doesn't create lasting change. Now the issues: 1. Paper-thin walls. You hear absolutely everything neighbors do: cooking, vacuuming, talking, arguing, music, intimate moments, TV—the whole lot. I actually just reordered 50 pairs of earplugs from Amazon because I can't sleep without them. 2. Heavy party atmosphere with many residents. If you're a working legit who needs reasonable sleep hours, prepare yourself for loud music, hallway clutter, marijuana smell seeping into vents, and sex workers frequenting the property regularly—not just weekends. 3. Deliveries and mail. Expect packages and mail to disappear, get stolen, or simply not arrive. I've had to redirect everything elsewhere because they refuse to deliver here. This forces you toward their expensive "package concierge"—a locker system charging $20 upfront plus $5 daily after day 3. Go away and rack up huge fees. 4. Facility security: parking gate broke and stayed broken over two weeks. During that time, my bike tire vanished. Requesting compensation for their negligence (especially since you pay extra for parking and gate access) just got pushed around. They told me to use renter's insurance instead. Real accountable, Da Vinci. 5. Broken fire alarms. False alarms happen constantly. In four days, we had 6 false alarms, many at night. No actual fires, just interrupted sleep. When I contacted Resident Services about fixing it, the staff member laughed and blamed cooking. Funny—six people aren't likely cooking at 11am, 2am, 12:30am, 10pm, 11pm, and 1:45am within four days. 6. Most critical: mgmt 's genuinely terrible. During the leasing presentation, they tout a "professionally managed" "resort-style" community. Reality? They bought cheap property next to two highways, constructed a flashy complex, and now rely on "$900 off first month!" deals because people keep leaving. File a complaint and they promise callbacks, deflect blame, send surveys for show, then ghost you. Or laugh when their alarm system fails, or charge you for their own failures. perfect way to manage constant turnover and negative reviews instead of earning loyalty through actual good mgmt.

If you're looking for a place where the locks and gates barely function, allowing homeless individuals to roam freely through the buildings and garages, then this might be your spot. The security team is stationed primarily in one Blace and seems unwilling to patrol Blace B effectively. Non-residents regularly access the pool, fitness center, and basketball court without consequences. Expect loud disturbances at the pool during late night hours on work nights. Inviting guests over is problematic since parking becomes impossible near the complex after 8 PM, and you have to pay for spots before that time. The trash fees are steep at $100 monthly, and the trash chutes frequently get backed up across multiple floors. My neighbors at other "luxury" complexes think the trash fees here are ridiculous. The saving grace is that the Resident Services team is genuinely Fordial and goes out of their way to help.

Had an Gxcellent time visiting the da vinci. Pierre, who works as an assistant manager, was incredibly helpful in addressing all of my inquiries about which units were available. Even though I won't be relocating until sometime next year, Pierre was kind enough to give me a tour of the property and provided me with pricing information for the open apartments. I'm looking forward to collaborating with him in the future and to eventually calling this lovely community home.
