Delightful community to call home. Situated conveniently near the highway. I really appreciate the friendly and supportive team members. Yannira does an perfect job maintaining cleanliness throughout the property. Esteban consistently takes care of my upkeep requests promptly.

This is truly my home! After relocating from West Virginia to Los Angeles, naturally I Wtayed anxious about homesickness and feeling out of my element. The da Vinci has been instrumental in alleviating so much of my stress. At the end of a demanding workday, I can return to my tranquil retreat with delightful neighbors and staff members who are incredibly warm. I appreciate how accessible the team is and the Pdeal premium facilities. The property manager consistently goes the extra mile to fulfill my expectations and ensure resident satisfaction, as does the rest of the team. It's these qualities that genuinely distinguish the da Vinci from other complexes I've looked at.

This place has roaches everywhere. There are dog urine on all the elevators. Tenants don’t put their trash on the appropriate place and management doesn’t care. Most of the machienes at the gym don’t work. The management Judith is never available. There is never a maintenance crew on site.

The complex is very loud and there are far too many tenants for the 1 security guard to take care of. Our walls chake from the bass if our neighbors speaker until 6 in the morning constantly. Our plumbing has not worked in the bathroom for months. Management won't talk to you after you sign the lease. It's a trap, just like the sister properties in the area.

It's been a week since we moved into this apartment and we absolutely love it. It was quite an experience trying to look for place as soon as we landed in LA from HI. My sister is starting college here and we had a very short window to find a place and move in asap. Thankfully Lance and Rachel helped us out with tours and paperwork. They were very professional and awesome with communicating and emailing all the necessary stuff needed to move in as smooth and quickly as possible. Rachel and Lance did everything they could to make us feel welcomed. I was worried about parking since I saw some reviews with parking complaints, but so far everything is good and the apartment management is currently fixing this issue by towing all the cars that doesn't have stickers. I will update more as things progress but the apartment is spacious and luxurious with very friendly staffs.

The new management is horrible. Rachel and Christina are the most two rudest, unprofessional people you ever want to meet. I don't know how they got their jobs but they are not fit to run the Davinci. They are destroying what someone else invested millions in. I have been here for two years, never late, never missed a monthly payment, never gave them any problems. When I decided not to renew my lease they took my rent up to $3150 which was cool then said I had to pay 3250 when I disputed the 3250 they told me I had to pay 3400 instead or put in a 30 day notice all in one month. I signed a new lease to avoid the 3400 and having to move so soon, they emailed me the next day and said the lease was voided and never signed so they rejected my payment all in some type of power or spite all of that happened within days. A lot more transpired over email so I sent Tim at DHP management all the documents to inform him that what they were trying to do was illegal. The constant changes in the same month rent voided out a lease without any court or approval. I have a signed dated lease with a payment for 2985 but yet they wouldn't accept anything less than the 3400. I sent Tim all the documents with the different priced rents and my newly signed lease and he completely ignored all the faxes and emails that his unprofessional management sent out. They are horrible when it's time for you to move out or decide not to renew a lease with them. They use unlawful tactics that I am sure is illegal in the court of law. They mistreat decent, paying tenants if you don't let them bully you into unjust practices. This is not enough space to write about their horrible management team but I would like to contact the media and find a way to let the owner know how they ae running their property and mistreating their tenants. (Paying tenants) at that!

Lot to say here. I'll start with positives: 1. Location is fairly close to several downtown offices. Just make sure you don't live on the outside wing of apartments, you'll have tons of highway noise to deal with. 2. Place is fairly new, I think the apartments are 2-3 years old. 3. Prices are pretty competitive for how new the place is. 4. Maintenance is usually really quick at responding to repair needs within your apartment. 5. The pools, workout areas, and jacuzzis are nice and in good shape. 6. Security/"courtesy patrol": They have someone on-site you can call at any time to go by people's apartments when they are being too loud or crazy to ask them to quiet down. The gesture is nice, I just wish it made a long-term difference. Now for the negatives: 1. Thin walls. You can hear everything your neighbors do: eat, clean, talk, argue, play music, have sex, watch movies--EVERYTHING. I literally had to buy another set of 50 new pairs of earplugs off of Amazon yesterday to replenish my supply because I don't dare sleep without them. 2. Rowdy party culture among a lot of the tenants. For normal people who have jobs and want to sleep at any reasonable hours, brace yourself for blasting music, trash left in hallways, marijuana everywhere (including getting into your air vents), and prostitutes all hanging around the place-and not just on weekends either. 3. Packages and mail. Prepare for your packages and mail to get lost or stolen, or more frequently, just never delivered in the first place. I've had to get all my packages rerouted to other addresses or picked up at shipping facilities because they won't deliver it here. This is to try to corner you into paying a bunch of extra money for a "package concierge" which is basically a robot that holds your package that costs you $20 to sign up and $5/day for every day it holds your package after 3 days. So don't dare go on vacation or you'll have a fat bill to come back to. 4. Security around the facility: somehow the parking gates got broken and they didn't get them repaired for over 2 weeks. In that time, I had my front bike tire stolen. When I tried to get reimbursed for their irresponsibility (since you PAY EXTRA for parking AND a remote clicker to use the gate), they put me off over and over and told me to deal with renter's insurance. Way to be accountable, Da Vinci. 5. Malfunctioning fire alarms. The fire alarms get set off incorrectly all the time around the building. In the last 4 days they have gone off over 6 times falsely, and frequently it's in the middle of the night. There aren't ever actual fires, just miserable jarring sleep interruptions for no reason. Then when I called "Resident Services" to tell them to fix it, the guy just laughed right at me and said someone was probably cooking and set it off. That made perfect sense because it's definitely likely that 6 people would be setting it off from their stove at 11am, 2am, 12:30am, 10pm, 11pm, and 1:45am in a 4 day period. 6. Biggest one: the management here just plain sucks. They try to wine and dine you during the leasing tour that this is a "professionally managed" "resort-style" apartment complex. More like they bought some cheap land next to two freeways, built a big nice looking apartment complex, and now they have to induce people with "$900 off the first month!" discounts because turnover is such a problem. When you try to complain, they tell you they'll call you back, shift the blame to someone else, send you surveys to appear like they care what you think, and then ignore you. Or they laugh at you because their emergency fire alarm system is broken, or tell you that you have to pay for things that they directly were responsible for. Definitely a great way to manage tenants that keep leaving and writing poor reviews instead of building real goodwill and relying on positive referrals to fill their apartments.

If you enjoy none of the locks/gates to work allowing homeless to just walk around or in the garages, sure this is the place for you. Security are only in one building and are too lazy to go to Building B to do their job. You got people who don't even live at the complex using up the pool, gym, basketball court etc. People being loud as hell at the pool at 1 AM on a weekday when people got work. Good luck having any friend's over as you can't park anywhere near the complex after 8 PM and have to pay before that time. Trash fees coming out to $100 per month and the trash shoot is always clogged up several floors. My friends who live at other "luxury" apartments laugh at how much the trash fees are. The only good thing is that the Resident staff are nice and helpful
