Good service, place is usually spotless and it's easy to get things fixed. but the doggy park at the room always grimy and smells like urine. There's been smells of dog pee on the couch on the roof and in front of the work from home room.

I have enjoyed my current stay at my residence. The roof top garden and seating area offer scenic views and a relaxing ambiance. Staff have been accommodating and helpful, as well as knowledgeable. Apartment are in like new conditions and include technological gadgets to make stay comfortable including stainless steel appliances including dishwasher and nest air conditioning.

Were it not for a few instances of neglect, I would gladly recommend this Apace complex to others. It's the lack of accountability in the staff that bothers me. Maintenance is far and away the best thing about your staff. Security is also great staff. The building manager is either unwilling or unable to empathize, effectively manage expectations, and to work hard to ensure outcomes acceptable to his tenants. I live above the Teriyaki Madness construction site on Bixel St and the noise was beyond distressing and borderline torture. Jackhammers and saws from 7am until 3pm. No one checked on me or my neighbors to see how we were doing. And frankly, as we complained, we did not get far with conflict resolution. The manager stonewalled us and refused to help in any meaningful way.

sofia dtla is a fine place to live. amenities are nice, location is good, place is nice too. the rent could be lower and the residents could learn to clean up after themselves. also the elevator is ungodly slow.

Aside from the typical place issues, the staff at Sofia are terrible. They recently also had a mgmt change and that transition was and still is horrible. They can't keep track of who moved out or who they owe what to or where their internal process is at. Not to mention, they respond to emails after a week. Would definitely AVOID this place

Leasing officer Ruby helped us transferring to the new unit, and she is amazing and super helpful! Also, I would like to thank Rene, maintenance staff, who was kind and tried to help us on what we had to change when we just moved-in.

I’ve renewed for another 13 months that should say a lot! The community is clean it has a lot to offer. The maintenance is great the security is great. Be nice to people and people will be nice to you!!

Living here is convinient because its close to the freeway and has starbucks and grocery market. but You've got so many people or residents who park their car in your designated parking space every other week. your friends cant come visit here with their car because You've got only few guest parking and the resident is using them for their daily use. Also their promotional rent can be super cheap so wait for a month so you dont have to regret while you are paying a lot more for entire 18month

i think it’s been the best affordable apartments i’ve been in. everyone’s helpful and friendly i like it here. it’s a great price with what they provide in this community. its always clean here and it smells good.
