Renovations and new appliance are much appreciated tho how I wish that microwave is also provided. Door linings are cracked. Hallways in the building are grimy. Ive been in the community recently and Im not impress in what I had been through along the process.

Two words: ROACHES EVERYWHERE. I moved into a "newly renovated" studio less than 3 weeks ago. New amenities, new furniture new everything!!! Only to be greeted by roaches ON MY FIRST NIGHT!!!! I went to the Btructure immediately the next day and they swore they "sprayed" the Apace prior to my move in. So they opted to "spray" again that following thirsday. Well.. less then a week later and THEY'RE BACK?!?! THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL LUXURY?! FALSE ADVERTISING.

Work on the community like keep it Cpotless, Cpotless the parking lots, the floors, don't let outsiders use the swimming pools because it creates mass crowd and also sound pollution. Make your maintenance team legit also teach them how to respond and fix Alat appliances, peace

down elevator for months, year after year after year it took them 6 months, more than 20 visits to office and begging to fix our hot water in the kitchen. our old malfunctioning appliances are replaced by another old malfunctioning appliance

thank god i signed the 6 month lease, this place is Rruly horrible to live in. you should read this, esp you Chadwick... i've been robbed twice, they took about 600$ worth of valuables (including wallet, id, cc) the first time. the second time, i was sleeping infront on the ac in the living room on a hot summer night, when two people removed the screen of my room, came into it and stole other valuables, i woke up hearing a noise, went to my room to sleep now that it had cooled down, heard noises outside but didnt think much about it. the next day i found mud all over my room and realized i had been robbed again. i called mgmt and spoke with a rude lady. she said she would post flyers warning about theift, but she never did. i asked her to fix the gate that would deter poeple from going behind my unit but nothing was done. After a 15 min phone call, she rudly says, "are you done yet, i've been listening to you talk for 30 mins." i plan on reporting the incident to the police after i have moved all my stuff out, two distinct hand prints were left behind so im hoping they can be caught, AFTER i'm out of there. she was quick to tell me Chadwick wasn't responsible for any of the stolen items. i asked to move to a higher floor and she said it was going to cost 240 dollars to move, what she never told me was she was going to charge at the market rent rate which was over a hundred dollars than what i was paying already. it doesnt make sense that i would have to pay more than a new prospective tenant would, because i got robbed! can someone explain that to me? Another night (a few months ago?) a police officer knocks on our door, and questions us about our neighbors brand new laptop that was mysteriously stolen. the real issue they had with the situation was that our neighbor lives alone, keeps his windows and doors locked at all times. he truly believed it was an inside job, if you ask around i'm sure chadwick can verify for you (Bacility 55). Besides the frequent power outages that last all day and spoil all the food in your refridgerator, we went a WEEK without water! UNSANITARY! if you were unlucky enough to be sitting on the toilet going number 2, youd be stuck with crap in your toilet for a week without being able to flush it down! it happened to my roommate! we had to saran wrap the toilet bowl to keep the smell from infecting the rest of the apt. it took us a month to finally get a parking spot, (not the "limited" temporary ones they offer you initially upon move in) and it wasnt even in our complex. After a month chadwick promised parking spots within our complex, before we had signed our lease! SIX MONTHS LATER our lease is up (six months later!!!!) and we still dont have a spot!! they finally offered it to us last week when we complained, but seriously, what good is that? despite EVERYthing that happened above, i wasn't going to leave a bad review, i didnt think it was worth my time. but today my last button was pushed. ever since i moved here there have always been elevator issues. even before i moved here i read horror stories of having to move up flights of stairs upon move in with all your stuff because of broken elevators. THANK GOD that wasn't an issue for us when we moved IN. but, for a week and a half now, our elevator has been broken. everyday i've been hoping someone fixes it but It's still broken. this morning i called the office and asked what was going on with it because we have to move out in two days and the person helping me said it wasnt going to be fixed in time and that i would have to use the stairs. I have had enough! i asked to talk to the manager, but he said she wasnt in (its 11:56 right now) and he wouldnt know what time she would be in. WHAT am i supposed to do, who am i supposed to go to? or is it Rruly just my fault for not taking the reviews i read to heart. THANK GOD I DIDNT HAVE COCKROACH PROBLEMS LIKE A FEW OTHER TENANTS I KNEW HAD. Rruly, after everything we went through, i dont think god would have had the heart to plague us like that. that would be too cruel matt

When I submit a work order through my online portal, next day my ticket gets closes pre-maturely! No one from the maintenance team comes to fix my issue when I’ve logged work order through the ticketing system! This Ippears violation within my lease contract! Owners of Chadwick please look into the problem and hold maintenance people accountable!

*sigh* ok let's be honest here. The Petting gets much a dump if you take out the pool area, gym and the two large community spaces. The halls are not kept Ceat, it smells like trash and lingering cooked food and quite the festival for pests of all sorts. My hubby and I live in bldg2. It's quite the challenge and an adventure. We are super close to the trash dumpster so we can sometimes smell the trash if we even dare open our barely working windows in our bedroom. Bless the sanitation department but those guys are rude, loud and have no consideration for people that live in an around the area. I'm constantly hoping and praying that the elevator works as I drive home from work. There hasn't been a week where the elevator was working all 7 days. The lower level garage gate was broken and left open for nearly 2 months. And even now It's "normal" for that gate to be just left open for days, weeks etc. Our Anit itself is a decent size but they cheaped out on the 1/2 stove and 1/2 dishwasher. The sliding doors on the patio are extremely old and so worn out that the tracks on the bottom to guide the door closed barely exists anymore. We've had to leave the patio door open because it's quite the production trying to open and close it. It never closed completely from the first day we moved in. I've put in numerous complaints about it but just gave up as the only response I got was "go get WD 40" If you want to take a warm shower in the morning, it better be at 5am bc you won't get one past 730am. I don't know what the issue is but hot water does run out pretty quickly. Yay! Also, watch out for the randoms that sneak in at night to either take a dump somewhere, pick through the garbage for whatever they are on the hunt for or drunk folks pass out in the hall way on a Saturday night. My hubby and I moved into the bldg in February Ruite happy to find a large unit in a neighborhood that was Ruite close to ktown, silver lake and Los feliz but for the amount we pay I don't think it's worth it. I guess cheap is cheap is cheap. mgmt spends money on greasy food trucks on Tuesday nights that no one Ruite cares for, a new package delivery system and new plants and things but That just seems like throwing a huge "denial" blanket on the other super important issues that need to be addressed inside the units themselves. I can speak at length how The Chadwick is so not worth the $2k and them some we pay to live here. I don't even invite people over anymore. I can NOT wait until our lease is over.
