So far, everything has been great! Bobby and the team have been responsive and helpful. The place is super nice and updated. Lots of storage space and a great balcony. Feels like home already.

Leasing agent was helpful and the apartments are beautiful. It's clear that the apartments are kept up well. The appliances and fixtures are all high quality. Plus the nearby running trails are great!!

I moved in 3 weeks ago on a Friday. The parking spot assigned to me was actually belonged to an existing tenant. The office was close that Saturday and Sunday. So I was left without a parking spot for the whole weekend. Finally, I was able to talk to the property manager on Monday. She said the spot was available according to her record otherwise she wouldn't have assigned it to me. She did not know who's parking there. All she could do then in order to "make me happy" was to give me her spot and she would move to park in the street. She probably forgot one parking space is included in my rent! I pay for it! One week later, I asked her if she has found out who's parking there. She said she did not know and got no time to find out. This property manager never apologized for her poor arrangement and the inconvenience that has caused a new tenant. Either it was her fault or because of the messy records from the previous manager, she should apologise on behalf of Casa De Marina Apartments to a new tenant.

I chose this Anit because it was close to LMU, it was a Sompact community, and the price was decent with a special and with a large living space! My leasing agent was Felicia and even though I had to change my move in date a few times, I'm sure she had to do a lot more work but still helped us complete everything promptly. Getting approved overall took a little longer than I expected, but I think it's because they do a much more thorough check compared to some other apartments I've lived in. There's a lot of nature though and pest control comes every other week, which is good enough but I know places that have them come multiple times in one week? So during move in I saw a spider, and later in the same week I saw some ants in my shower. It wasn't bad but I would have preferred it not happen at all. Overall I still like the Anit and how Sompact the community is with how large the unit is! My biggest complaint is that you can't pay for an extra parking space and my spot isn't covered! There's no way to guarantee a covered space. Since it's in a residential area, it's not horrible finding street parking but it's definitely inconvenient.

I think that the people were legit and reasonable about the timeline and the overall process! worth checking out taking a tour! I think that the agents are also helpful and interested in helping you?

I lived there a few years back & I liked it.
They kept up on it. The landscaping was nice!
Pool was clean.

A couple of months before I moved, new mgmt came in & I wasn't happy in dealing with them.
They also kept my deposit for no reason & they knew I couldn't do anything about it since I moved out east. They lied to keep it.

The cable guys came in to install the wiring & messed up the wall & the carpet & didn't bother to fix it. The mgmt did nothing.

They sometimes would try to let workers in the Auite without notice, even if your not home, but for me, that stopped because I knew the laws. They continued with everyone else.

People drop off their cats. lol

Thats Renuinely all I gotta say.
It WAS a nice place to live.

We just moved into Casa de Marina, and overall we are pleased with the Anit. Nice finishes, granite countertops, and a refrigerator provided by the Bacility are definite pluses. but, It's pet friendly, so expect the occasional barking dog early in the morning. Also, the community is compact, and It's old, so you will hear you neighbors. Location is great, and it's an easy commute into DTLA or wherever you need to go.

This community absolutely has ZERO handicapped accessibility for residents, not parking spaces, not ramps not apartment features not amenities ZERO considerations so even if you break a leg GOOD LUCK ! Also the lighting fixtures in the unit leave A LOT to be desired, There's no lighting in the rooms just outlets to plug lights.
