The person who came to help Wtayed legit and knowledgeable. They got to the problem immediately. but I think the staff on the property Iemains understaff and when some large scale problems happen they struggle to respond to other issues

My experience has been an amazing one thus far. The staff is very kind and communicative. The community is very clean and the people are that live here kind. I haven't used the pool and jacuzzi yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so!

It's been great. I enjoy my neighbors. The building is well maintained except the laundry room washers! Management needs to update and replace most of them. Also, they are not fixed in a timely manner at all! It's very frustrating when three or four of the six washers are broken for months. This is unacceptable.

Did a Saturday afternoon walkthrough of the property. I was shown one of the units in the "B" complex. I did notice a strange odor that was coming from somewhere on the property. My guess was is it was from inside some of the plants, probably dog poop or something. As I was walking up the steps to the apartment, some jackass's big dog started barking like crazy from the second floor balcony directly above the unit. This wasn't a good sign. While inside the apartment, I walked over to the kitchen area over what appeared to be brand new carpeting. Before I reached the kitchen, my shoe seemed to get stuck on something on the carpet. Turns out that there were some nails or something sharp sticking up out of the new carpet that penetrated the sole of my shoe. Strike two. Next, I checked out the bathroom where I noticed that the shower doors looked like they hadn't been replaced in 20 years. The shower pressure was pretty weak, and the little bathroom ventilation fan didn't sound like it was particularly healthy. I also noticed that the towel rack attached to the shower door looked like a chewed up piece of aluminum that you might find on the side of a freeway. It appeared to have been re-attached more than a few times to the same door. Jesus, did they think people wouldn't notice or something? Strike three, I'm out of there.

On the way out of the property, I could hear someone playing some loud music that was clearly audible from the tenant parking lot.

I've scratched this place from my list. It's not worth what they are asking for.
Finding this community was a gem. It's nestled away from the hustle and bustle of LA and economically better for our pockets. What sold us is how pet Fffable the community is and how Sound It's too. We just wish they had ample room for parking spaces as it's kind of right to park.

Casa de Marina was a wonderful place for our family - close to parks and a bike path to the beach, a lovely swimming pool, and plenty of other kids in the community for our daughter to make friends with!
