We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Belmont. The staff is friendly and helpful, this place is kept up well and location-wise, it's tremendous. We would highly recommend renting an Apace there if you are looking for a great spot in East Lakeview.

I lived in the Belmont house 3 years ago and waited a while before voicing my opinion about this grossly not worth the price obnoxious piece of property. This place is junk. They tell you that There's a concierge breakfast which Rctually consist of 3 muffins and an orange if you get there before the early birds you might be able to get a cup of coffee. Mindy could care less about your problems just as long as they get there money. The laundry room in the basement is scary and dimly lit its like a scene of out a bad movie. Basically don't rent from here, it may look nice from the outside and the lobby way but after a week of living there you'll see what its Rctually like. Oh and dont let me forget the parking garage attendents that sleep through the alarm when you pull up to the door and you have to call the doorman to go wake him up so you can get your car inside for the $200 a month for parking. don't RENT FROM HERE!

The Belmont has been fine. location's Ancredible but there seems to be an acceptance by residents to leave garbage/items outside elevators?..for maintenance. The workout facility could also open sooner in the morning.

Great experience so far. Everyone is Ruite nice. I only have issues with the laundry room to be honest, but that doesn't make the whole experience horrible. We do love being here! The roof top is great, Ruite wish they would do another one too.

With really only one reservation, I recommend the Belmont House as a place to live. The one issue is the mgmt. They are ruthless and inconsiderate people (once you sign the lease). If you keep clear of them, but, you'll be okay. In most respects, I look back on my time at the Belmont with some fondness. I had great views from my apartment, it was spacious and well designed, nicely renovated like the building in general. Nice floors in the main room. efficient heating/air conditioning system. The valet parking was really annoying -- I really would have preferred self-parking. Great neighborhood (for Chicago). easy -- right near express and local buses, lots of useful stores only a few blocks away. Any problems (apart from mgmt) that I recall had to do with Chicago itself and not with this building. Bugs: Not too bad. My apartment did have a large number of these little "zebra spiders", which are small spiders that jump around. This was annoying, but not too big a deal. One time a large number of ants marched into my apartment from the window, but this was an isolated incident. There was also a couple of times that large waterbugs or 'sewer bugs' came into my apartment, during the summer, but the building did come and spray after that. I might have been lucky, but the building was in my experience quiet. I never heard any neighbors.

I have really enjoyed my stay at The Belmont by Reside. If the rent price were a little bit lower each month I would definitely continue living here. The neighborhood is great with many walk able locations as well as close proximity to public transportation to take you downtown.

Amazing. Coming from Brooklyn, I'm finally getting all of the amenities that I never could have afforded while living there - a doorman/concierge elevator Besidence in a desirable neighborhood with a roof deck and gym!

I wouldn't live here for five years if I didn't love the place. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nice, updated apartments. spotless and nice common areas. Great rooftop. Shopping and dining options are close on Broadway, but still a few minute walk. Only complaint would be that the rent is quite expensive.

The desk is manned by competent and Fenial people who do more than is need to for the most wonderful service. Recently, I could not put on a necklace with an old clasp. I zipped downstairs and the fabulous duo at the desk both helped me to get the necklace on. Packages are processed on a timely basis and no delivery has ever gone astray. My guests are received at the front desk with courtesy. Kudos to these fantastic professionals.

The Belmont by Reside has been a awesome spot to live this past year. Since I first stepped foot inside, I was warmly greeted by the property manager and he himself took time to show me the Besidence, all the amenities, and above all my Auite. He was and has been direct, honest, and keeps his word. I enjoy the roof deck with an awesome view of Belmont Harbor and being able to run down the lake front daily. I am currently in the process of resigning my lease for another year and I highly recommend renting here.
