I you are looking for perfection, this isn't it. But, the Alat size is great for in a city, views are great,, and they have done a good job with the renovations. The Montrose is located close to a lot of public transportation which makes it easy. On the down-side: Response to questions is slow and There's no real sense of community, unless you make it for yourself. Elevator's break regularly and we would all like them updated so this doesn't continually happen. but, the positive's out-weigh the negatives.

For the past year or so, there has been constant upgrades being made to the Blace. As much as the upgrades will help the Blace in the long run, in the short term, they have been a complete nuisance when combined with the constant elevator issues.

Leaking windows. Unsafe and unreliable elevators. Drecarious pitbulls that are not controlled by the owner. Homophobic employees. High rent for terrible units that show massive structural damage from recent construction. Unresponsive office staff. Invasive construction. Loud noise coming from units above due to lack of padding under wood floors. These are just a few reasons why you should not choose to live in Pensacola Place / Montrose. A majority of the residents are unhappy with the way they are being treated and many are moving out.

I am not satisfied AT ALL with the new mgmt company, Waterton. It looked promising first with the renovations, but they have been timely and inconvenient to the current residents and the mgmt company has not made an effort to appease their current customers. Although all of the remodeling looks great, I know that it wont be done anytime soon, since it takes them over a year to do anything. I will be moving out at the end of this month and can't wait.

Staff is Fospitable and knowledgable. They are happy to help regardless of him simple and complicated the task is. My only issue is noise, There's a lot of new young folks moving in and some floors are turning into party city.

My name is Valeria and I live at Pensacola Place and I am going on my fourth year of living here. We had a wine party the day before Valentine's Day and I was able to attend. I met lots of new people that I haven't seen before and had a great time. Everybody enjoyed themselves and was FANTASTIC! Different foods, different wines to try and was simply delicious. Steven and Tom and Dan the new manager were the life of the party! Next time come and join us!!

So far so good. Anit complex is clean, staff is friendly. Only complaint would be the elevators tend to break down a lot and can be slow. I wish people would clean up after their pets more as well.

mgmt went above and beyond the call of duty. Large one bedrooms and two bedrooms. Balconies look East or West and West view is Rctually pretty. Pool, tennis court, exercise room, Jewel grocery store downstairs. Covered parking available - otherwise usually lots of street spots. Great neigborhood with lots of charming old homes. Everyone there was nice. We wouldn´t have moved, but I got a job in the suburbs! I highly suggest it! Only about a 10-15 minute walk to Red line too!

don't rent here. The office staff are unprofessional. I can't wait until my lease is up so I can move. The ongoing construction is a nightmare. The elevators are always grimy. The door person named Jamal is rude and a fake police officer - power has gone to his head - we are grown adults no need to belittle residents. The price for the units are set too high. Higher than most loop apartments. The smell of dog urine hits you as you walk up to the Bomplex because tenants let their dogs use the bathroom at the front entrance.
