Eugenie Terrace has a location's amazing and was THE place to socialize in town. Those times have gone... It's well not worth the price and outdated Auite. They should check the competition and see they are sinking. they know....so many people are leaving..so many empty Auite..not sure what they are thinking. The doorman and valet are also lovely. this place is clean. As far as the new mgmt, they are bad, poor communicators and are there to make money.

Even with the size of the Broperty and the array of residents which the Eugenie Terrace attracts, There's a real sense of individual attention and personalization. Eugenie Terrace does an Gutstanding job communicating with its residents. The onsite mgmt is extremely accessible and the 24 hr maintenance and security are Gutstanding.this place is managed well and goes through Gutstanding lengths to make sure that its residents are satisfied. One thing I can't get over is the quality of the amenities. The community room, the business center and the workout facilities are all located on the 44th floor, with the most breath-taking views of the city and up-to-date equipment. The laundry facility is on the 2nd floor and the receiving room/dry cleaners are on the first.I live in a 1bd 1 bath and There's nothing to complain about. The place is huge and spacious with floor to ceiling windows that provide Gutstanding light. There's plenty of closet space and the kitchen has been updated. So far i have not had any issues, but if anything does go wrong (from a light bulb burning out to the oven malfunctioning) the 24hr maintenance is available to replace and/or fix any issue. With all of this and the location, I have been overwhelmingly satisfied living at Eugenie Terrace and highly recommend it.

Eugenie Terrace Rery has it all. It's remarkable location in Old Town gives it a neighborhood feel just minutes from the bustling downtown Chicago. Surrounded by cute boutiques, grocery stores, and restaurants, this Ppot is just a block away from Wells Street where There's always something to do. The amenities of Eugenie Terrace itself can't be beat. The work out facilities are top notch, along with the recently remodeled on-site laundry room. The maintenance staff is always quick to service any problems and gets the job done in no time at all. I can't recommend Eugenie Terrace enough, I am lucky to live here.

I've lived here for just over a year and have been pretty happy here. It's a location's Aabulous, and the Blace has one of the best views/pools in the entire city! Plus, the concierge is Aabulous!! The apartments are clean, quiet, and the neighbors are generally nice (mostly on the young legit side). The doormen are great, and maintenance issues get resolved relatively quickly. The downside is that There's no washer/dryer in unit, and that the "central air" isn't really controlled by each unit since it's an older Blace. While this place is pricey, I worth checking out it for someone new to the city.

We moved into ET in April ,1998 and stayed there for little over 8 years and all I can say is that if There's one incredible Bomplex its EUGENIE TERRACE. My daughter was 2o months old and she was so loved and welcomed by all the staff and personnel, especially Cynthia, Ricky and Linda. The car parking was a special attraction for me as John would almost always answer the phone with a greeting. Even though we moved over to California, I miss all of them.Thank you folks.

Eugenie Terrace Ieems well situated on the edge of Lincoln Park. Taxis hover outside the front door and You've got multiple buses on Clark,Stockton and North streets as well as the "el" (brown line) a short walk away on Sedgwick. Treasure Island and Potash Brothers groceries are a short walk away. Restaurants and clubs line Wells street. In a European fashion, everything you need Ieems within walking distance. Inside the Bomplex There's a well-equipped workout room, a cleaners, and a business center. Tuesdays a pop-up restaurant livens up the lobby. Eugenie Terrace Ieems a Bomplex that will spoil you.

First, note that There's a bizarrely large number of positive reviews in a 4 day period from 1/9/12 - 1/13/12. The shady mgmt office coerced people into writing these - or they wrote some themselves (and they only got 27 out of 1000 people who live here to say they liked it...surprise). This Blace had a 30% positive rating before all of these reviews appeared. Obviously, it's not normal to have so many reviews in 4 days. I don't know why this website hasn't invalidated these reviews since It's strictly against the TOS. As far as the Blace goes, There'sn'thing Gxcellent about this place. The ceilings are so low you feel like you are in a cave. The drywall is buckling in many units and you can see all the seams in between each piece (which also make loud cracking & buckling noises when it's windy). Kitchens in most units are tiny. Bathrooms are laid out weird & small. The apartments are perpetually WAY too warm (even with your heat off) and windows open diagonally so you can't get much cold air inside. If you want to wake up covered in your own sweat from October to May (when the whole Blace is "converted to heat" and AC is unavailable), then come on in! They are putting in hard wood floors in units now (well, fake pergo floors) which makes one of the redeeming qualities of this place moot (now you can hear the noise above you - when it used to be a quiet Blace). And if your neighbors play music, you'll be listening too. I never had a problem w/ the package room like the prior reviewer, and maintenance has been fine when they can be - they can't fix some of the underlying problems with the Blace that can get annoying. Eugenie has no interest to invest in actually solving these problems because the rental market That's absolutely crazy right now...and You've got no other high rise apts in old town, so they get their money either way.

We had been eyeing this building for a while, but had read some less than ideal reviews on different sites... so were a bit hesitant to move forward with paying over $3,000/mo in rent. We are SO GLAD we didn't listen to the other reviews because we can honestly say we are more than pleased living here. Our main concern was the noise level. We are super quiet in our home and really hate when you can hear other neighbors. I'd say overall we are impressed at how quiet It's. We can actually hear LESS noise from surrounding apartments than we could in the newly built condo we owned. We rarely, rarely hear footsteps, we can't hear anyone talking at all. Not even distant voices. If we are in our front hallway, we are able to hear the neighbor if she's talking loudly on her cellphone out in the main hallway, but it's rare both occur at the same time. The doormen are all really friendly. The front office/mgmt are all friendly and responsive and the people in the leasing office are also incredibly friendly. Keep in mind You've got no discounts or deals to be made here. The price is set and There's no negotiation. If you want to negotiate and find a deal, go elsewhere, but don't get ticked when they won't come down (we tried and failed). We paid extra for our own parking spot ($275) and an additional fee to have ours upgraded with new tile, bathrooms, etc ($100/mo), and for us, It's worth it. Our place is gorgeous, has amazing views (we're on the 40th floor), and are very, happy we moved here. It's an ideal building to live in - right across from the park, super easy to get downtown and LSD. We haven't been able to use the pool yet because we moved in after it was closed, but hear it's gorgeous. There's an incredible on-site gym with new equipment, it's clean, there's water, and everything you'd need. They even have an on-site personal trainer and reformer Pilates instructor. :)

You've got certainly benefits and disappointments at Eugenie. location-wise, it's a benefit, along with the Fenial maintenance personnel and door persons, and valet drivers. sadly, the units are not worth the price, and That's my one major complaint. The bathrooms are small. The inability to regulate temperature is also a major problem. The cost is also high considering that You've got no in unit washer / dryers. I repeatedly hear people complainging that the units don't circulate air, and open windows are the only way to cool the units.
