Extremely easy. Right up against two! grocery stores, steps away from 3 major train lines and multiple bus lines. Large city park across the street, walk to the lake, museums, Loop. Living at 1130 is so easy. Maintenance requests have been completed the same day, even when I mark them as "low priority" or "routine." If you have a dog, this is the place for you. We've met dozens of people in the building through our dog, and our dog always has play dates and sitters lined up. There's a city dog park across the street. The dog deck is crucial. It may not always be glamorous, but considering dozens of dogs use it for a toilet multiple times a day, I think it looks pretty damn good. You've got random community events all the time where you can stay and socialize if that's your thing, or just run through, grab some food, and go. It's not unreasonable for price considering the location and amenities, but if you're looking to save money on rent, this may not be the place to do that. To give you an idea, we pay almost $1600/month (includes water, trash, heat/ac, maintenance) for a one bed room and it isn't one of the renovated units. For the area, this gets cheap though. I worth checking out 1130 to anyone who asked, especially if you're working in the Loop or Hyde Park. I can walk to work everyday in the Loop. For Hyde Park, the express buses stop and METRA stop one block away from the building. About a 30-40 minute commute.

It doesn't even take a 5th grader to figure out that all of these glowing "YES" reviewers were written by mgmt. Draper and Kramer, D&K, or whatever they are calling themselves now, has terrible business practices and ethics. You don't come first as the resident, their revenues do. It's all about money and that's how they operate all of their properties. It's a horrible way to do business.

I have had a great experience with the apartments at 1130 from the Fenial door staff to the quick response to any and all service requests. I also Renuinely appreciate the onsite dry cleaning and package pickup for all deliveries.

It's a beautiful Auite, a friendly community That's also peaceful and quiet. I like to see the dogs and cats are included in the community, 'Pet of the Month' is so cute. Communal areas are spotless and well kept.

Not a good Property if u are a young person the are not Farm and they a rude and act racist the dogs smell bad ivy will harass u she will speak to everyone else and be polite but will ignore you unless she has a problem with you then she will give u her full attention.

Everything is good minus we have had pest experiences multiple times. We have had cockroaches now two or three times and even though the Apace had said they got an extermination done we are still having issues

Overall we have had a pleasant living experience at 1130 S Michigan. We always feel save, There's always Fospitable interaction and we always recommend this place to our friends. Something about this place just radiates and you can see it in everyone who live here!

I've generally enjoyed the Aad building. The door staff are really nice and I haven't had any issues with repairs. It's also dog friendly with a large dog park, which is great. My main issue is that it's just not worth the price for what you get. We're paying almost $2,100 for a one-bed with no washer/dryer and no parking included. Parking, if you have a car, can go up to an extra $330/m if you need charger access. The area is also generally way too loud, with constant horns and people yelling. I do think the residents of the building are really nice, though, and the indoor package room has kept me from every having a package stolen.
