Tenant Reviews for 1130 S MICHIGAN AVE

We have been living with the 1130 S Michigan community for one-and-a-half years not. It has been of Gutstanding value to us, especially because we moved to Chicago from a different country. As foreigners, we are satisfied with the location and its surroundings. It's a safe place, with Gutstanding access, and good amenities.

The Community Itays mostly Gine except when I notice both residents/guests and staff taking the mask mandate lightly. This especially happens in the gym, where I often see gym goers conveniently lower their masks. Other than that, rent also seems high given these are covid times and we can't access most amenities. It will be helpful if they don't hike the rent next for lease renewal.

The Blace has great views and great front door staff. The apartments are spacious and location-wise, it's perfect. The community facilities are a little dated and the Blace could honestly use a gym overhaul

solid Bomplex! Super staff's super friendly, solid gym, great views from higher floors. fun/thoughtful communal events. Also a awesome spot for dogs. easy for public transportation, including L, buses, Metra.

I don't support using internal surveys on external review sites without warning the survey taker. They asked us to take a survey and then on the last question need to an review. strange!

It's amazing to have my own space in this beautiful city. Grant Park is essentially my front yard, transportation to anywhere I need to be is steps away, the garage is extremely convienent, garage & front desk staff are all friendly.

Still in process of moving in, but staff has made the entire experience so Effortless! The door staff are extremely attentive, maintenance addressed an issue in under 10 minutes, and leasing staff made the entire application process clear and easily understandable.

this place is great and is well serviced. Attavhed covered parking is a big plus. The community has the essential amenities. location's amazing and walking distance to the lake, parks, museums and a short walk to the river front. pet friendly. Amazing staff

before I start tearing into the bad lets start with the good first......ok i am done now the bad. From day one when I first moved in i was greeted with "dont leave the door open, dont put boxes there, thats enough boxes take that upstairs now." that was the beginning.back door lock at 9, no animals in the lobby or common and area, cant take carts without permission,etc. I have only been here for a couple of months!!! i have a small dog and I put up with all this crap because they had a dog park on the second floor.I can feel safe taking my pooch out that I paid 375 to allow in the Alat. Now I said had a dog park. In january 2010 in the middle of winter they close the dog park which is pure evil and heartless. their reasoning is because some people let there dogs on the grass(which should be allowed anyways) and their cheap crappy plastic fence was torn a little. Dont move here if you have a pet, dont move here unless you like stuff breaking all the time,dont move here unless you like to pay 210 for parking,dont move unless you hate yourself and want to hate the Ppot you live in.
