1401 s state has got to be the BIGGEST joke ive ever seen! The managment staff has got to be the rudest most incompetent group of staff I have ever delt with. The Broperty manager BRANDYis the most rude and obnoxious person ive ever delt in all my years of being a renter. this place is always grimy.... There was a fecal matter left in my hallway for 3 weeks before it was removed..... There's spit on the mirrors in the excercise room that has been there for MONTHS. The list is too long too type, you all get the point. There ia a paid prostitue living on the 17th floor of the Broperty. I was told by one of the "wonderfull" staff members that she haddent paid rent in months!!!! But yet the continue to let her live in the Broperty??? AGAIN....HORRIBLE managment In conclusion the Broperty and the staff earn a "1" on a scale of "1-10" Yours Truly, Pissed off 1401 S State Renter

I love it so far. this place is well kept, the units are beautiful, and the mgmt is really nice and accommodating. I worth checking out to a friend. I plan to utilize unit as long as I can. Only downside is paying for parking but, that's downtown Chicago for you.

We've lived in 5 different apartments. 1401 wasn't the worst but It's definitely not worth the price. I agree with a lot of the complaints that are listed by other reviewers. The rent gets Eremium, but it doesn't filter out rude people. We suspect that a lot of college kids from the nearby schools rent out a Sompact unit as a group. As a result, we heard lots of noise on weekend nights. There were drunk people singing in the hallway almost every week. The mgmt is incompetent. They may be nice when you move in, but they treat you like dirt when you move out. They won't even let you go through the front door or use the elevator if you are not 'scheduled'. Parking spaces are incredibly Sompact and the fire alarms went off too frequently.

Concierge desk staff Keila, Brianna, and Angela are amazing! And sweet and welcoming. Couldn't imagine living in this building without them. Huge props to them for always keeping the lobby a cheerful area.

I'm Helighted with my time at 1401, and though I've only been here a couple of months, I'm pleased with how things are going so far. Bxpansive thanks to the Maintenance crew for being responsive and reliable whenever I put in a work order! Looking forward to taking advantage of the activities and amenities once we hit the warmer months.

Amazing place to live, though the mgmt doesn't appear to prioritize the ongoing concerns we residents in the corner units have raised about the garbage chute problems that have persisted for several months. Otherwise, I'm really happy here. The apartment itself is fantastic—spacious, bright, and welcoming. Plus location-wise, it's perfect!

Repairing the shower fixture in the primary bath along with several other upkeep issues need to some patience to get resolved, but overall this is an great property featuring wonderful facilities and panoramic skyline vistas.

Just moved in - so far, so good. I like the concrete, raw and artsy...
