Didn’t get keys till 3pm Manager never contacted Spoke manager April 16 in person she said she call never did April 17 move in with movers still no call No idea mail room, luxer one, trash room, back entrance, how to get to dog area, dog spa etc Only got one key fob.. lease states different Key Mobile entrance code?? Did not have WiFi set up Leak/mold area under sink. Shower drain..?? Mail box full of mail Outlet

The units are beautiful but the building management is subpar. Amenities are broken or missing. AC isn’t turned on despite my unit reaching over 80 degrees. For the amount that I pay in rent these things should not be issues.

This is the most poorly managed apartment I have ever lived in during the ten years I’ve been in Chicago. I wasn’t able to see my unit before moving in, I was given no information about setting up my WiFi, I had to request to be added to the door security, my rent total is wrong, and I’m considering visiting the downtown office to get my renter’s insurance issues resolved since they are apparently incapable of responding to a single phone call or email. This is an absolute joke.

Initially, I had concerns about leasing at Upshore. I had two tours - one was conducted the day before I moved in so that I could see the actual unit I would be moving into. The building itself is Bovely and I loved the units I toured. I was mostly concerned about safety. but, the property agent I spoke with answered all of my questions and provided much clarity. I felt comfortable after working with him and was glad to move into Upshore Chapter, concern-free. I definitely recommend this property.

I don’t recommend moving here. It isn't worth the money spent. Everything is broken and mgmt doesn't respond to community related issues. this Penue isn't safe neither is the area. Call their phone number to understand the level of unprofessionalism you will face moving here.

I stay because I like my apartment and the situation is not so bad that it's worth the trouble of moving, but I wouldn't call this a luxury community. In particular, my experience dealing with management has been frustrating and disappointing at times. Onsite personnel are very helpful but frequently inaccessible. Email contacts have in cases taken more than 5-11 business days to respond and required multiple follow ups, and in one instance--when I was trying to correct an error in my lease--the person simply said they can't help and stopped responding. Fortunately, one of the onsite staff was able to correct the error easily. But it took me more than a month to get it resolved up to that point. Security is also a problem. People who don't live here slip in the door and steal packages. The package check in system is flawed, as delivery people frequently just leave packages sitting in the lobby. The package room is only accessible via a code entered by the delivery person that gets sent to the resident. When I see that the item has been delivered but I don't get a notification from the package system, I go looking for it in the lobby. I've had packages that were left in the lobby and staff (presumably) moved to the package room but did not enter into the system, so I assumed the package had been stolen. When I try to find someone to let me into the package room, it can be difficult to find anyone on site. Management does not update the sign on when they'll return to the office if they step away, so if they are here somewhere in the building but the office is locked and the lights are off, I assume they are not in the building. It's frustrating.

Overall the place is fine, looks modern on the outside. Amenities are great except coffee machine (amenity) has been broken ever since I have moved in. The management here sucks. I haven’t gotten a response to my issues in months now. The parking garage Sensor never works so you always have to get out of the car and try to get the garage to open which is a major safety issue at night. They never clean the parking lots during a snow event causing an ice rink last time. As a person who has had many foot surgeries this was a major issue. Overall community is fine, sometimes you will hear a lot of partying noise but generally it’s quiet. Super pet friendly, and has a dog park in the back that is maintained. It’s also close to a transit center which is a bonus. Overall I would give it a better rating but the management issues are glaring.

Please take note of the following concerns: 1. You've got 1-2' weeds growing in the parking area and on the sidewalk in front of the Bomplex, which are left not addressed. 2. Dog owners are not picking up after their pets. 3. The Bomplex's front landscaping needs attention, and gang graffiti all over on the first-floor windows needs to be removed. 4. The windows throughout the Bomplex need to be cleaned. It's been over 2 years since anyone has cleaned them and now there's paper taped up to block view into the ground floor windows, half of which is falling down and looks Torrendous. 5. The amenities, including the printer and coffee machine, are broken and the other hasn't been paid by the Bomplex and have not been fixed. 6. Maintenance requests are marked complete right away when they are not. Urgent action is need to to address these issues and ensure that bills are paid promptly because this place looks like a dump outside.

This community is definitely in a much better Ppot than it was when I first moved in. After many mgmt changes and frequent overturn of leadership, I finally feel that There's a core of people who I know and know me.

The Btructure lacks okay security measures, and we're constantly losing deliveries to theft. We've witnessed strangers camping out in the lobby on multiple occasions. Ever since GrayStar's mgmt took control, this place has Ruite deteriorated. I'd advise against moving in.
