I moved into these apartments Oct. 2012 and thank goodness my lease is up in Sept. 2013. When i went to look at the apartments, everything was nice, clean and cheap (being a single mom with no help, price was my main reason). After getting the apartment and everything else, i have had nothing but problems. Not even a month of being there, someone was shot. I have roach galore in my apartment, and every time pest control comes, the roaches never disappear. I have never had a roach problem until now. I have cleaned my apartment from head to toe but it seems they are migrating from somewhere else to mine. Plus, the trash and mess outside can become ridiculous especially if you live on the first floor, it seems everyday i am picking up piles of trash by my front door, its disgusting. Also, my tires have been slashed and reporting it to management was pointless, they didn't even care. I can hear all my neighbors conversations and arguments. The people above me are like elephants with how loud they stomp. My last apartment was never this bad. If you have small children this place is not the place for you either, there is nothing for them to do around there and personally i don't find it to be very safe. They just started having security guys walk around but that doesn't make me feel any safer. I know these are considered low income and section 8 but i think they need to make strict enforcement so the people who are not on sec. 8 or govt assistance feel they are getting more of what they pay for. I have already denied renewing my lease, i will be glad to be out.

We moved in on Oct 2012 and I can't wait for my lease to be up July. The date of move in our apartment was not ready. We had to take one facing the back. The building and stairwell were (are) filthy. Had to bring up furniture to 3rd floor with such disgusting stairs. Promised a power or pressure wash of stairs that did not get done to a week later. They have not been cleaned since then. Promised an accent wall to be painted if early move in, wall painted after being in apartment 4 months. Some ladies in office and management are nice but it's as if complaints are not taken seriously. Pest control supposedly comes every Tuesday, but since being here they have only done my apartment 4 times. Downstairs neighbors are pigs and rowdy as well as majority of tenants living in back apartment buildings. Front side of buildings and near office look nice and clean,but it's another story when you come to back apartments. Garbage/ trash all over grass. Amenities: Gym has been under construction since we moved in (were told it would be ready in a month) been here 7 months. Pool is closed. Has damaged stair that needs to be repaired. No work being done currently. Can't even take kids to pool on these hot days. Pool is just locked. Playground on property is occupied by high school kids hanging out. Rent is ridiculous for what the property has. Especially when amenities are unavailable or useles. If I wanted to live in a project/ housing atmosphere, I sure as hell would not be paying $919. Think twice, we regret this move.

COSTA VIZCAYA & GOLDEN BAMBOO VILLAGE II (sister property)- WORSE place to live. My family moved here when Bamboo FIRST opened, and it was nice and quiet. Shortly after, they started allowing section 8, and just about anyone and EVERYONE else in here. With the amount of crime I witness with my own eyes DAILY, I highly doubt they even do background checks. There are constant noise issues and when brought up to the office staff they act as if they don't believe you. It's hard to get maintenance out when you need them. There is constant drug dealing everywhere, theft, fighting, etc. You absolutely can't find aprking after 9p.m., as a female, I do NOT feel safe here. There is CONSTANTLY new management underway, and the newest is by far the worse so far with the unprofessionalism.There is said to be security, but I have only met one and he was just as bad as the residents. My car has had a ton of new key scratches made on it, mainly around the areas of where you could try to break in, and my sunroof looks like it was attempted to be lifted from the outside. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE LIVING HERE!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! These apts are terrible. I first moved here in 2010 and everything was cool but the more they approved these section 8 people to live here the worse it got. My car has been broken into 3 times unfortunately, shooting, and fighting by these young/old kids who have nothing to do with themselves but take from others who have worked hard for what they have. They sit in stairwells all day and deal drugs. There's no point of having a patio. I hate it here I can't wait to move next month !!!! There has been several office management come and go. The current management is even worse. Those girls are there to stir up more trouble rather than endure peace within the community.

These apartments are horrible! I just moved out and SOO thankful that I did. There are gang fights, teenager fights(daily), kids changing in stairwells, Drugs everywhere on the property, and even elementary kids fighting and cursing. Shootings.. 2 in the past 6 months. People were walking up to my children's window at night, people jumping over my neighbors balcony! Stay away as far as you can!!! They are scary and very bad. The after school problem the person who does it, is ------ and very unprofessional. Very noisey!! Teenagers, adults AND CHILDREN are very very disrespectful.
