Worst Place ever. Got robbed twice because the main gate is always open. The wire lines are burned due to flooding and thats the reason why Carrington Park which is now Sevona Park row cant fix it. They have office manager named Paige, who is the biggest racist I have ever seen. Cockroaches all over the place even though we lived in the second floor, noises all over the apartments. The apartments are half empty now since everybody left. Too much robbery and theft. My car was broken into twice and nothing was done about it. Beware, these apartments are not what it seems like. Management is worst. I have lived here for 2 years and problems kept coming since the 2nd month. I have moved out but it is a horrible place to live. DO NOT GET THESE APARTMENTS !

We've lived here for 2.5 years and are very happy. The place is sprawling and only 2 stories. The inside is large with plenty of room in the master bedroom for lots of furniture. The closets are huge. We also love the washer/dryer that came with our unit. Close to shopping and restaurants, a new gym and gorgeous pool, plus the staff is very attentive. Bonus: it's a safe bike ride away from bike/walking trails and George Bush Park. All in all, it's really a great place to live.

Moved in to Carrington for the second time in March 2014. Love this place. It's a quiet apartment complex. It's like living at a house. The office staff is great. Thelma has been very helpful and asks me if everything is great whenever I see her. The complex is very clean no bugs inside. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone.

I just moved in on 5/23/2014. I had looked at several apartments in the area, but kept coming back to these. Thelma in the office has been a Huge help with everything. All the ladies in the office I talked to were very friendly and helpful. The complex is Very Clean, the apartment is very nice, big and the grounds are kept very clean and kept up. I have been nothing but Happy since I moved in. No kids running around acting up. Nice to walk out your front door and not find trash in the parking lot, and dogs mess all over the grass, or odd people hanging around in the parking lot that don't live there. I made the right choice by moving here. Plan on staying for a long time. Thank you to all the office staff for all your help. Very Happy Resident.

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! First, and foremost, I enjoyed living there, while I did. I'm not going to down play how happy I was living there, I even recommended this place to my friends and family. I was never a problem occupant, never complained about anything, even when we needed our lights replaced, we never called. Which could explain why I had minimal interaction with the office staff while living there, so I can't vouch how they treat their current tenants. HOWEVER, once I moved out the nightmare began, I tried to obtain a statement of deposit. I knew I owed money after moving out because my brother had a dog and he had some accidents on the carpet which caused them to stain. I knew I owed them money and all I was doing was trying to pay. We moved out on January 7, 2014, at which point my brother went and handed in our keys. I called on January 10, 2014 and spoke with Thelma. I gave her my forwarding address to ensure we received the statement of deposit so we can get them paid in a timely manner. I even asked her if she would have a manager contact me after 5pm as I get off at that time. Her response was "Well we usually close at 5 but I will see what I can do." Almost a month went by, still nothing was received in the mail and never did I once receive a return phone call from a manager. I called and spoke with Lilly, who transferred me to Marcia the assistant manager. I expressed to her my concern about not receiving the statement of deposit nor a return phone call. She was very condescending and defensive about the whole thing and stated she will go ahead and give me another month to pay since I didn't receive it after the first phone call. I provided her with my forwarding address as well as my e-mail to ensure I would receive the statement of deposit. I gave her a couple of hours, no e-mail was received. I called her back and asked her if she got the correct e-mail address, she seemed irritated with me and repeated it back and I asked her to repeat my address because my street name has an unusual spelling. She reluctantly verified the address and told me I should receive the email shortly. Once I received the email, I had a couple of questions regarding some of the charges, so I wrote a response back with my concerns. After two days or no reply via e-mail, I called and asked her if she received my email. Her response to me was "We aren't in the business to make money off of our former tenants" I was taken aback by this response because my questions weren't out of the ordinary, all I wanted was an explanation of the charges. After that conversation, I gave her another day and a half, I waited until that Friday afternoon and called to speak with her, however, she was out for the weekend, therefore, I was unable to speak with her until the following Monday. It seemed as though she was neglecting me because I owe them and they don't owe me an explanation, and it's not about that I'm a responsible adult and if I owe, I wouldn't dispute that, however, I just wanted answers before I paid my statement of deposit. I finally received an e-mail the following Monday, it was like pulling teeth. However, as a manager myself, I've never been rude to any of my customers, even if they are frustrated as a manager it is my job to listen and assist instead of taking the defensive. Oh, I failed to mention, my brother received a call 3 weeks after moving out why we haven't turned in our keys. He told the woman, we turned them in the day we moved out and she stated it was a mistake on her part, she didn't mean to call him. How disorganized can they be!? I know my rights as a previous tenant, I was supposed to receive my statement of deposit within 30 days of moving out, and never did. It was up to me to call TWICE in order to get it sent to the correct address. Not to mention, once they got their money, I called and asked for an e-mail for my records because obviously, they don't follow through with anything and I needed to ensure I have it in writing that I have paid in case it pops up on my credit that I didn't. I know how apartments work, they switch management companies, and in the transition, sometimes it will reflect that I haven't paid my statement of deposit when in reality, I did. I hadn't received the e-mail, nor did I receive it in the mail. Thus, today I called again and spoke with Marcia, of course, again, she was condescending and defensive acting surprised about me not receiving my receipt of payment. She stated she will send it again via mail, I asked her if she could send it to my e-mail, she stated the printer isn't connecting to her computer, so she must take a screenshot. I thanked her and when I told her have a good day, as I was still talking, she hung up. She is very passive aggressive, and rather rude. I'm glad I don't live there and have to deal with an office staff like that. I was a happy tenant while living there, however, I WILL NEVER MOVE INTO ANOTHER GREYSTONE PROPERTY EVER AGAIN.

Love the Gals in the office. They are quick to help with every question. The apartment is super quiet! I was worried that the noise from I-10 would be ever present, but it doesn't exist. The small maintenance needs were cared for within the week. Highly recommend to those who want a quiet island within a busy city.

Very nice community, quite, clean and well maintained. I needed to move fast and the leasing consultant Daniela Garcia helped me in every step of the way. The floor plan of my apartment is great, very open and bright. I had new carpet and fresh paint before moving in and that made the apartment even better. The staff always try to keep a sense of community , they even have welcome team to make sure you are settled in.

These were my first apt. and must say I was very happy! There were alway parking, very quiet (Minus the noise from the freeway) pool wasn't full of kids, staff was friendly and very good and safe location. The only down side was the floor plan I had, the living area was VERY small and ones I had renew my contract they raised up the rent by $200. Also I didn't like the new paint job they put on the outside of the apts.

Lived here for about a year and a half. Rent was expensive to start, but rose at every renewal like clockwork. I wrote it off at the beginning since the area was relatively safe, but it's ridiculous for what you get. My neighbor had her rims taken in the middle of the night and someone punched out my passenger door lock trying to force it. Gates were often broken...I only received one opener when I moved in and left it with my father. I never had any issue driving in. The general fit and finish of things in the apartment is awful...anything someone had to cut/replace/build will not be straight/the right length. There are odd...grease?...spots that seeped through the paint on the walls. Our A/C broke pretty much immediately upon moving in. Required 7 service calls to get it to function reliably again. Each one generally came with 24 hours of no A/C. They weren't interested in hearing about my electric bill doubling when the broken A/C ran all day while I was at work, nor did they care much when they replaced the outside unit with one that was half the size, which also ran 24/7 since it was inadequate to cool the larger volume. Some of the staff got fired for stealing mail. Yeah. The staff that didn't get fired sent me notices every month for extra money that I didn't pay for my rent that was somehow not itemized on the bill that I paid every month. I was told that if I just paid that to them straight it would all get worked out. Surely. Yeah...I wouldn't live here again.
