Unit 6H Pros: Great area, not too expensive, very safe feeling, packages delivered to your door, utilities included one free year of Wi-Fi. Cons: THIN WALLS- neighbors were loud cuz they have 4 kids and fight a lot, made so much worse by thin walls. Plaster walls are also not great for hanging things up. Heat was way too hot in the winter Advice to landlord: Temperature control better

Pros: Great price for 2 bedroom in NYC, updated appliances and safe building. Cons: I'd heard the walls were thin before we moved in but didn't think much about it. Spent the last 6 months we lived there forced to listen to the people above us have sex because the walls and ceilings were so thin...

Unit 10A Pros: Lots of families, felt safe Higher floors got lots of sun Pretty quiet (depending on who your neighbors are) Cons: Water would sometimes run brown randomly without notice Maintenance/inspection people would sometimes enter our apartment without notice or consent when we were not home (knew because we saw them on our pet camera) Sometime packages would get lost or delivered to wrong building because delivery people couldn’t navigate Stuytown with all buildings looking the same Advice to landlord: Don’t enter people apartments without letting them know or getting their consent first

Pros: reliable management, clean, centrally located Cons: can’t control heat, loud neighbors. hot water gets get shit down from coned several times a month

Unit 8B Pros: Well maintained, haven’t had any bug issues ever, extremely well insulated so you never hear any neighbors except sometimes upstairs but never bad. Cons: Gets hot with the heat in winter, and we did have a problem with a leak in our bathroom that they took a long time to fix.
